I don't believe either side is particularly evil more Scrooge McDuck like, as they'll do a lot to get money. But personally I believe Activision is more prone to this kind of "evil" behavior and I'll cite the quote where Bobby Kotick said he'd happily make CoD a subscription based game. You're opinion?

EA is more evil, simply because they messed up the whole EA account thing for me and I wasn't able to play Fifa or Bad Company online

Ever since EA got their act together and spent a bit more time innovating rather than pumping out ; things have been looking up for EA. I'm not a fan of their aggressive stance towards preowned games (i.e. project ten dollar), but I've looked at them in a difference light ever since games like Mirror's Edge were published.

They're both fairly evil, but with a guy like Bobby Kotick as the face of Activision, how can you not vote for them?

Activision has Bobby Kotick. Theres no competition. Activision could stop world poverty, bring in a new reign of world peace and cure every disease known to man, and yet due to Bobby Kotick, they'd still be Satan.

I'd say they're both equally evil, but different kinds of evil. Activision is the most proactively evil, always trying to find new ways to make us hate them, whereas EA is more of an all-consuming blob, swallowing up everything good in gaming and assimilating it into itself.

EA on one hand, has been trying to turn itself around by not forcing out a new game every year. Apart from EA Sports anyway.

Activision on the other hand has been forcing CoD after CoD after smelly CoD out of it's assorted developers scince 2007. While gratiously accepting the overflow of Halo-grown-twelve-year-olds.

Activision is not my most hated publisher, by miles. Its the second most hated.

def Activision their pumping out of CoD games everywhere has lead to such market over saturation it is not even funny. I used to love FPSs, but now I die inside every time one comes out because it is all the same shit.

EA ruined my childhood.

Forget CoD; with a series that "successful", of course they're going to keep pumping them out one after another until they stop making a profit. If you were selling nine million copies per game and didn't have any new ideas, wouldn't you whore them out too?

EA, on the other hand, bought out Westwood. The minute that happened, the C&C series went down the shitter hardcore. Even Earth and Beyond, which, while not the best game ever, had the potential to be awesome, was ruined by EA. Then you've got Pandemic Studios, which developed the Star Wars: Battlefront series; also awesome, and also bought out and shut down by EA.

Finally, EA essentially started the DRM craze. That's about all that needs to be said there.

If you had asked me this question five years ago, I would have said EA. I still harbor some hatred over how they desecrated the Command and Conquer franchise after they bought out Westwood. However, I'm going to have to go with Activision, because EA has improved somewhat in recent years. That, and the fact Bobby Kotick is the antichrist.

well, a few years ago, I would have defiantly told you EA, now, I'd tell you activision, probably because EA's trying to make up for their years of ruining good design companies and making bland games, but is it just me, or is activision taking their place?
