I like symmetry ... I would always do both ( I have both nipples done, 2 nape peircings, both right and left arm tattooed, back center tattoo and 2 chest pieces opposite of each other )...but that's me ... to each their own ...

Me either! I don't know what it is, I think it looks so much better when a guy has only one ear pierced. But then again I don't mind if they have both ears pierced.

If you have to get one, get it in your left ear if you're heterosexual.
An earring in the right ear says you're homosexual.
At least that's the "code" I heard of.
Dunno if these "rules" still apply today, though.

It's actually only the gay ear if you get one ear piercing...So get two or get your *You know you're thinking it so I don't have to say it* pierced.

It really doesn't matter whythe right ear isn't preferred but I have my left ear pierced and I would feel wierd having my right ear pierced instead, it just feels more natural.

Whichever. I'll say that, in my opinion, if a guy has both ears pierced it makes him look like a fruit. So don't get both done.
