Poll: Ever harmed yourself for pleasure?

I enjoy sticking cigarettes out on my body, I find it gives me a great rush and puts me on a high for an hour at least. I was wondering if anybody else had similar experiences? I realise this will probably sound a bit weird but we are on the internet so its not like anyone you know (for most of you) will find out. And if not, would you ever consider it, or indulge in letting a romantic partner do it to you?

No, not for pleasure. But I did hurt myself a few times to help myself realize that I could still feel something.

Um...barring the general discomfort of this thread, sorta. Not really intentionally, but sometimes when you badly clip a nail and end up peeling up that little bit along the side that gets all inflamed and stuff. Sometimes when that happens I'll find myself messing with that since it like...it hurts, but it feels sorta good in a weird way...I dunno, it's like it hurts but it's a relief from the general ache of the injury...hard to explain.
Have never hurt myself really badly though for the sake of pleasure, unless you count punching a wall out of anger as a sort of venting mechanism.

I used to do that but I'm in a better place now and use the same method for enjoyment now. I'd say its poetic but it really, really isn't.

I expected some feelings of discomfort would be felt, hopefully not enough to prevent posting.

I had a friend in high-school who slit his hand and let the blood run into a cup, then he drank it... though he never gave a reason (weather it was just self harm, a attempt at looking 'hardcore', or an actual pleasurable experience)
but personally that doesn't appeal to me at all, so i doubt id ever try anything like that.
Unless you count being tattooed, which is quite therapeutic (especially for someone like me with slight anger issues).

Once, when I was depressed as hell. Took cigarettes and matches against the bottom of my ring finger because I decided I wanted a scar there. Besides looking back now and cringing at my depression/masochism, I don't regret getting the scar. I like anything that gives me a sense of uniqueness.
