OT: Yes, I have thrown one out of rage a few times, although I can't remember why since I have managed to control my rage since I broke a pad a month or two ago.

I've never thrown a controller, but I did come real close years ago. I think I would've been in middle school... or maybe jr. high, it's hard to remember that far back. Anyways, I was a total Animal Crossing junkie, I sunk hours into that game, and when something happened that I didn't want, I'd just restart the console even though I had to deal with Mr. Resetti's BS. Anyways, if you do that enough times, Mr. Resetti tells you that he's going to delete your save, then the screen goes black. I thought all the hours I had sunk into that game had just been erased by that stupid fucking mole, and being an immature middle school/jr. high kid, I was just about to chuck my controller in rage when the screen came back on and I realized the cruel joke that Nintendo and Mr. Resetti had played on me. So, I've never thrown a controller, but I came pretty close that day.

Depends. I never throw it forcefully. I just casually toss it over my shoulder in an "I give up" fashion when I get fed up with a game. It's always on purpose and it usually lands in my pile of laundry...

Throown, yes. Usually onto my other couch. I have also rage-snapped a ps2 controller fighting the last 3 stages of Virtual-On Mars on Ultimate.

I've never thrown one (hard) though I once twisted one out of frustration so much I cracked it. Thankfully only the plastic casing so it still worked fine, and to be honest I was impressed that I cracked a controler by sheer force.

Yes I threw one while playing Cold Fear (PS2). I meant to through it on the bed but I threw it a bit to hard and hit a door. Put a hole in the door. Controller was fine.

I remember flinging an original NES controller into the wall after getting a Game Over on some game when I was five or six. My mom took the Nintendo away for a few hours, I bawled like the manly little puss I was, and I don't think I've done it since.
