Most everybody watches movies, and just as common as watching movies go, some don't even finish movies. We all have our reasons why we would, but I ask you, have you ever walked out of a movie in a theater (Try not to include watching movies at home) and if so, what movie (or movies) and what reason, if you don't mind saying (If you say "Meet The Spartans", it is kind of obvious why, but if you walked out of something by a director/writer you respect, it certainly is more interesting).

And if you haven't walked out yet, have you ever come close? What attempts have you made to make a theater going experience go by without actually watching the movie?

Try not to flame, that's common knowledge. If someone doesn't like a movie you like, don't be rude, just deal with it.

I'll get this out now: I cannot get myself to walk out of a theater. It's not a kind of obligation I have to fulfill or anything, it's just I can't get myself to get up. Even the worst movies (Meet the Spartans - it was for my girlfriend at the time) I just can't get up from. Even if its a cinematic trainwreck, I can't just leave. Afterwhile, I'll start evaluating the background and music and costumes, but I can't just leave (Amazingly, no bathroom breaks either).

So, how's about it? Any movies?

I usually walk after the credits start rolling...

Otherwise, I've never walked out on a movie. The only movie I couldn't finish was 'Spanglish' and I watched that at home. Horrible damned movie.

Not yet, I usually research films and Have a pritty good understanding of what it will be about and what to expect, So far I have been pritty good at judging films, I tend to find that I usually enjoy all the films I go to see.

I never have. I won't even go to see anything that I might have zero interest in watching.

The Thin Red Line, only film EVER. Including Titanic.

It annoyed me to do it, but still, some things are too bad.

Just to add that my friends asked me to go see Transformers 2 and I flat out refused to go under no circumstances what so ever. I'm so glad I didn't go, really dodged the bullet there.

I'm usually very good about going only to movies that I want to see, but I just couldn't sit through any more of "Lord of war."

God Awful.

I walked out of avatar when they tried to sing that girl back to life. That movie really sucks and district 9 was so much better.

WHY DID IT MAKE SO MUCH MONEY.

The one and only movie I ever walked out of was The Shadow, I just got so bored with it and the crazy knife with teeth just pushed me over the edge.

I don't usually, but not because of the money, it's because usually it is movies of books, and I'm always trying to convince myself that they will get better.

Titanic. But there is a story that goes along with that.

Ahem. My older brother likes to go to theaters and just pick something to watch that is starting when we get there. It was shortly after New Years when Titanic really started to get popular. We don't know this.

So we buy tickets for Titanic because it starts in like 1 minute and we get into the theater. The only seat in that place we in the very front. After 2 hours of watching the movie, I have a serious crick in my neck from staring straight up so long, a headache from the crick, and a slightly sick stomach, either from the crick or all the ocean stuff 5 feet from my face. They had hit the iceberg. I figured there couldn't' be much more to the movie, so I walked out to sit outside and get some fresh air and to stretch my neck.

I couldn't believe it. I sat out there for another hour!

Other than that, I've never walked out. I usually suffer through stuff. I did turn of Face Off after about 15 minutes though. That movie just required too much of me. Nic Cage and John Travolta have body types and facial structures that are not similar at all. Swapping faces would fool no one.

My friend walked out of The Spirit, and he was my ride, so I had to leave too. Pissed me off, because I loved the movie. Apparently, the shining teeth was just too much.

Luckily, I found the movie on DVD for about 5 dollars about a month after its DVD release. Still love it, though I admit I'm in a very small minority.

Can't say I have, but I do remember my one buddy walking out of Saw 3... Found him in the bathroom with his head in the toilet... Some people just can't handle prop gore...
