hmmm I'm currently considering wether or not I should grow facial hair, having an argument with my brother disputing wether girls like it or if its just something that nerdy guys feel proud of because it helps them establish a feel of manliness they otherwise lack, so whats your opinion of facial hair? I personally like it because I have a very round head(and a very round hair cut) and it gives it more of an angled feel.
I love the feel of stroking my beard but I think that gives me achne...

In only a week I look like an average person who hasn't shaved in a month. In two weeks it feels like I've got sandpaper glued to my face. It's all about preference I guess.

I alternate back an forth between facial hair and not. It's not really a matter of preference on my part. It grows until I overcome my laziness to shave...it never takes.

Grow the biggest mustache possible, they look glorious. Everyone knows when they're walking down the street and they see a fellow gentleman with a large mustache that they are a very respectable, successful man. Women dig that.. or so i hear :{D

Well I think its MANLY! But it really depends. If your comfortable with it go for it, if not no ones going to think any less of you and at least you can have those awkward photos to look at afterwards. I'm currently growing a beard as we speak. It's slow, but its coming along.

It depends. Some people it suits and some it doesn't. I'd give it a go, you can always shave.

Most women pretty much agree it's scratchy or it tickles and isn't that much fun to kiss.
Beards were never really about women, though. If you're growing one to attract ladies, you're doing it wrong.

Having an impressive or stylish beard is a bit like when women put on make up and spend hours getting ready. It's not about looking attractive to the opposite sex, it's about impressing other members of the same sex.

That said, I'm not really capable of growing any sort of facial hair. I can do sideburns and sort of under the chin, but everything else is pathetic.
Pretty much consistently have a bit of scruff, though. I can never be bothered shaving.

Well said.

Though personally I grow my beard because I like it.

I has a goatee like Yahtzee. It makes me feel like a big man. However yes, the majority of women do not like facial hair. Ask yourself whhich is more important, MANLINESS?!?! Or wiminz?!?!?

I've tried growing it a few times, but I don't like those weeks of looking like a goofy teenager. So now I opt for clean-shaven at all times.

It would really depend on your face shape. And as for impressing women - I challenge you to find two women with the same opinion on facial hair.

Ah... I read that as "goatse". I think I need to unplug from the internet for a bit, perhaps rejoin reality.

From my experience with female friends, girl do NOT like facial hair. Seems most of them don't even like cool, sexy beards on a guy like George Clooney.

This of course disappoints me, because there is fewer a proud moment than finally being able to grow proper facial hair.
