This thread is only for the people who played the game...The first big decision in the game (in the outside world). Did you make the choice of good karma or bad?

Good Karma mainly because its a fantasy world and I am an evil mysanthrope in real life so I fancied a change. I am now regretting this decision as I am balls deep in a specific kind of horrific beastie and do not have the rifle of the man from megatonne hope this avoids any spoilers at all!

Good. Because it's the first time out, so I don't want to cut off any potential questy goodness.

I'm also planning a neutral playthrough (bulletproof monk, focus on endurance and unarmed combat) and an evil playthrough (big guns!).

And if there's any juice left in the game after that, maybe a 100% stealthy playthrough, where I avoid all contact as much as possible, except for exploding pants, and the Mister Sandman perk.

Bang!
Oops. Sorry honey, slip of the finger...

Anyway. I'm going along the neutral path. Unfortunately the game keeps throwing good options in my path, meaning I have to steal crap and murder beggars every so often. Not complaining though. Crime pays :D

Well, I'm jsut playing it. This game makes it a lot harder to be god (or bad) than Fable 2 did. I'm not going to blow up the town, but if some ***** isn't paying attention, then I have to start wondering how many caps her carton of cigarettes and camera are going to get me...

Novajam brought up a good point. It might not be directly related to Fallout 3, but what's the deal with true neutral alignments? You cannot be true neutral. That balance crap is bull. I mean, if you are in a good party, you are going to insist they slaughter a few babies to even the playing field? WHAT?! >.>

My first playthrough was good. I even....purity....Sarah....*static*

I think it really does trouble you to do some of the bad stuff because it's really f-ed up some of the things you can do to go to the dark side. That always bothers me doing stuff like that, so I end up naturally staying in the middle of the road.

Like most people, my first playthrough is as a Good character. Since I have a high Speech skill, though, I've noticed a LOT of options that let me earn Bad karma and still complete the main quest. Lies are your friend :)
