Hmmm, I'd rather see a more mountainous region for the Fallout series. Besides the city itself, Vegas is surrounded by absolutely nothing.
who knows it might get canned before its done or it will fail or just be a clone of 3 which is the way they are heading

My view of fallout 3 was untainted by my not having played the original fallouts, and I loved it. I'm a huge fan of this new setting, and I'm looking forward to it.

Sorry but some people understand nothing but leetspeak, in which I have to dumb it down for them. But I get the just of what you say.
Obviously the Fallout name carries a huge responsibility. I'm sure the "ppl" formerly known as Black Isle are taking it just seriously enough to produce a quality product, and just frivolously enough to produce quality Fallout.

Play the originals. I enjoyed Fallout Three, but I discovered the original gems on Good Old Games a few months before the release. Check them out. They're cheap and well worth your time.Omikron009 said:

Not putting something in leetspeak isn't "dumbing it down." There's nothing you can't express in English letters that require substituting numbers for vowels. You don't loose nuance.
