Basically this is one of those "favorite" polls where I give you only eight of the possible options and you pick the sport you enjoy the most (either to watch or to play, or both if you prefer).

I wish I had more options for other sports: Rugby, Softball, Water Polo, Handball, etc. And an option for those who don't enjoy any team sports, but alas, I can only have eight. :(

Edit: Actually, I'll just go ahead and make the eighth option "Other," and then people can state what their favorite sport is in a post.

Baseball for me. I find Basketball kinda boring, Football to full of itself, Hockey is alright in small doses as is Soccer. I am kinda getting into Rugby as I have gone to a few games at my college and they were kinda neat.

GO TWINS!!!!!

Rugby is my favourite sport.

Nothing matches it in terms of physicality, team work, and achievement

I play for my local team(Stornoway Rugby Club) at under 18 and senior level.

Football (or soccer...) is the only team sport I really have time for. Don't mind Rugby and Cricket in small doses, but football's the main one for me...

Hockey because the guys who play it are real athletes. Football or Soccer is just pathetic it spawns anti social behaviour and violence with it so I don't even consider it a sport.

Cricket is such a wonderful, civilised game. When I was at school I was the one in charge of managing the score books. This was great as I got to watch people play as well as learning important skills such as concentration. Win-win for all involved.

Its all about paintballing. They should totally have that at the olympics.
And air hockey and table football.

I love basketball for the pacing and spontaneity. Mostly it's the sheer frequency of those moments when everything becomes sort of a blur, and the next thing you know, everyone goes "wow!" and you've just made some play you'd never think possible.

Motorsport.

Massive team efforts inevitably hinge on the abilities of individuals... much like real life.

It's probably a toss up between cricket and football; I'll probably go with cricket though due to the sheer unpredictability of it, and the sheer amount of amazing moments it creates.
