Poll: Favorite Firefly character

Okay I searched and found nothing. Decided to make this thread. Pretty self explanatory really.

Unfortunately I had to put Simon and River in one vote category so just specify who if its one of them.

I think all the characters in this show are unique and fantastic to watch together. I've never found a show where all my friends are so divided about who is a favorite. I think this is because all the characters are nothing without the others to make the show what it is

As for myself my vote lies firmly with Jayne as anytime he ever speaks is either hilarious or badass and I enjoy his moments the most.

This is quite a tough question, but I'd have to go with either Wash or Kaylee simply because they are both hilarious.

Well, since the entire cast is absoltely awesome, it's hard to pick a favourite. But for, ahem, multiple reasons, I'd have to pick River. Though Jayne's awesome too especially his hat and 'hero' song...

I have to go with Zoe. Because she's Gina Torres. No other living person more fully exemplifies the stereotypical nerd fantasy: hot, but terrifying, because she's 1) hot, and 2) could easily kill most of us.

I also think Gina Torres is the only actor who could ever play Wonder Woman (as she is characterized in the better Wonder Woman comics) and make it not an embarrassing joke.

Another note: Cleopatra 2525 wasn't her fault. I think. And even if it was, THE THEME SONG KICKS ASS.

See that's the beauty about Firefly. A lot of shows have that one character that is just a little better written than the rest, or just comes off as a little cooler (I'm looking at you How I Met Your Mother). At the very least you can always tell which ones you personally like more than the others. But when it comes to Firefly I honestly can't pick a favorite, they are all just so well written. Everybody has something to hook you and make them interesting, none of them is degraded to supporting cast or comic relief.

Kaylee is hilarious. Her character is contradictory because she's innocent in the way that she could never kill or harm anyone, but she's the horniest thing on the face of the planet.

Either River or Mal (I chose River), but a good cast all round so it's hard to denigrate any of them.
