Just curious about what people thought about the boss fights in GoW3. Your favorite, and your impression of them overall. Personally I think the bosses in this game rank up there with the best, like MGS3 and Shadow of the Collossus.

We have to pick ONE? they were all epic, although the Hades, Hercules and Kronos fights were my personal favorites.
I liked Hercules most because unlike the others it actually felt like a pretty even match. You weren't fighting some giant goliath that shoots lightning out it's arse, just this huge dude who seems like a surprisingly even match against Kratos. The screen wasn't filled with fancy effects or mind-boggling camera angles, just a straight up brawl to the end! Had a nice tempo to it too, starts out slow and steady with Herc sending armies against you but mostly just lumbering in the background like an unstoppable juggernaut, and yet by the end he's just as fast as you are and taking on Kratos bare-handed wrestler-style.
And... secretly... I was kinda voting for Hercules. I'm sorry, but I think it's fair to say Kratos is the villain by this point. Hercules killing Kratos would have been the closest God of Wars mythic-greece-land could get by this point to a 'happily ever after' ending.
