It's a very simple question. There are all sorts of tasty animals roving the world. which ones do you think are the tastiest? Personally I find myself to be rather fond of chicken, it just has a certain fresh taste to it. Plus it comes in burger form at my grocery store, so I can cook some up and eat it as a sandwich. A tasty, tasty sandwich.

So, what about you?

MEAT!!!!! NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM!!!

It depends on my mood but more often than not, chicken is my go-to dead animal, followed by turkey in a close second and beef in a close but not quite as close third.

I HATE fish (and all seafood really) and am not a big fan of pork. Sheep isn't really eaten here in 'Merica so I couldn't tell you how that was. Deer (Bison) is pretty good too.

Grilled chicken, pulled chicken, fried chicken, chicken on pizza, a chicken sandwich, it's all good!

It's hard to top a beef steak / beef ribs.

Caribou and Moose are pretty good too, but they're a little tougher and not quite as "juicy" when it comes to steakyness, they do make the best choice for stews though.

Chicken and Turkey are both excellent choices for sandwiches.

Can we include fish here? Because Halibut is 'da bomb!

I don't eat a lot of fish compared to chicken, but I do vastly prefer fish. Salmon is the absolute best, but I enjoy a well prepared tilapia as well. I'll also eat pretty much any type of shellfish, but I still haven't tried oysters.

Overall, I just enjoy seafood. Unfortunately, my family, for the most part, doesn't like it, so I rarely get to eat it.

Two-way tie between Beef and Pork. I love me some Ham and Bacon, but I don't think I could survive without a hamburger or sloppy joes.

Fish is a notable mention as soft-shell crab is one of the best things I have ever eaten in my entire life.

Nothing beats a steak cooked to absolute perfection.

No bloody sauces, no ridiculous condiments like BBQ sauce.

Just a bit of salt & pepper, a lick of heat, and you have flavour heaven.

Beef. Tenderloin in special, although ribs are a close second. But I eat most kinds of meat and enjoy them.

ANd Daystar's photo just made me hungry. There is nothing like a good steak.

Tough call

I really enjoy the taste of beef, but both pork and chicken are fairly close behind, and have quite a bit more versatility.

I love a good steak, but really good lamb is hard to pass up, too. I eat a lot more steak though (It's pretty easy to find in any restaurant).

Although I do love a well done steak. chicken is going to be my answer. There's just so much you can do with it, and to top it all off, it's actually pretty healthy when compared to other meats.

I do hate wings with the bone though. Too much work for a tiny amount of meat.

Bacon is unbelievably overrated, we get it, adding bacon makes something funny.. Gammon on the other hand..

I do prefer a good burger over a steak, a la Almost Famous or Liquor and Burn. <3 Minced beef.

My favourite meat is Gammon, which I'm pretty sure is Pork. The problem is I rarely have it cause in order to cook it without drying it out it takes hours. D:

I voted chicken though, because I eat it the most. It's easiest to get and goes with a lot of things if you use your imagination. It's also a lot less fussy than a steak, since I absolutely hate having any park of my meat pink. (Unless it's meant to be, like pork... >.>)

Of the types I've had... elk. Not the farm-raised overfat kind... I prefer the taste and texture of an animal that was in shape when it died. Plumped meat is overrated... as is beef. Free-range buffalo is pretty good, though.

*tips hat to your good taste*

Sauces are for stuff like Roast beef.

OT: Aside from a nice (beef obviously) steak.

I absolutely love turkey. Which is why I'm excited for thanksgiving.

Ignore that crap about pilgrims and indians and the nonsense about peace.

No, Thanksgiving is a Holiday about the food. And I'm all on board for amazing foods like Turkey, stuffing, and pumpkin pie!

Roast lamb is absolutely delicious. After that, it's bacon, then beef, and so on.

Odd that I love bacon so much when pork tastes so bland.

I'm going to have to say roe deer is pretty great, tastes a bit like moose, but the meat is more tender.

Out of the ordinary kinds I have to go with beef simply because it can be used for everything. There's the delicious steak, there's the hamburger, there's stews. Bacon is nice, but I have tried replacing the minced meat made with beef to the one made with pork and it takes a good deal extra to make it taste anything while beef tastes good on its own.

Chicken is the one I eat the most because it's cheap, but also because it has as many uses as beef.

I also feel I should mention that salmon is my favourite food ever when coocked right.

I'm surprised by the number of votes for chicken. It's a pretty bland meat (although legs and thighs have at least some flavour).

By a very narrow margin I'd name pork as my favourite, with belly as my favourite cut (when cooked perfectly it's melt-in-the-mouth amazing). But lamb and duck can both be heavenly and - as pointed out already - there's nothing quite like a good quality beef steak.

I find myself enjoying chicken more often because of how readily available it is, but in all honesty, a bit of grilled salmon sprinkled with sea salt and black pepper is amazing.

Nothing beats beef in my book. Favorite part would be the short loin(I think that's the English word at least... the back part).
Elk, reindeer and other deers are also tasty as fuck, if my memory serves, but they're even more expensive so I can't recall eating it in probably ten years.
