Poll: Favorite Pokemon Game

Can we please not have the whole, "all Pokemon games are the same" response? Saying Nintendo games are like their predecessors is like saying driving a car is faster than walking. Everyone knows and pointing it out just makes you look like an idiot.

Right now, Black and White.
They have the best game mechanics out of all of them, and because all generations of Pokemon have equally terrible designs, it makes it the best. Plus, it has the best competitive battling by far.
Second place probably goes to Red/Blue/Yellow, but only because of my blind nostalgia.

Definitely heartgold/soulsilver. While black and White are great, heartgold/soulsilver had the best menu system, the most engaging story, the best rival and was also was seeped in nostalgia.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Red/Blue/Yellow are my favorite, and Gold/Silver built on them, but after that, it just become too much.

Also gonna go with HeartGold and SoulSilver. Black and White are amazing and I love them, but before they came out Gen II was my favorite, and HeartGold and SoulSilver just took it and gave it life for the younger players. It was amazing. Plus, over the course of my entire life, Houndoom became my favorite pokémon and that was introduced in the original GSC.

The one thing that makes me sad about HGSS is that there weren't any Contests -- but I'm pretty sure everyone else was happy about that, I think I'm the only person who liked those.

I do have to say though, watching four year olds opening their Black and White versions with glee on the release day was such a great feeling. And then I felt like an old lady because I had an old Magnemite Burger King toy in it's Pokéball on my hip.

My favourite Poke'mon game is still the good old rail style "poke'mon snap" me and my friends still have hours of fun trying to get the best score. loser takes a shot winner takes the pot... of money that is... the only problem is that only one of us has the game. so guess who gets all the practice...

It has to be Black and White, it's very well designed, the battles are fun and I love the gyms, especially their puzzles. My favourite gym has to be Skyla and her cannons, that was fun to do.

Also pokemon Blue will always remain as another favourite.

I personally liked Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness and Pokemon Colosseum. They were really plot-oriented, and I liked that.

My second favorite is probably Gold/Silver/Crystal.

Emerald will always hold a place in my heartgold. I am enjoying White though.

Love farming Shaking Ground. Audino is an adequate replacement for the majority of trainer battles.
