Blink! Teleport to high ledges, across huge gaps, behind guards, directly above guards, directly in front of guards. Simple yet practical.

Kinda off topic, but does anyone else hear that voice when activating Dark Vision as saying, "that's nice"?

I always heard, "Yohan dies". Then I thought maybe it's hunters eyes. Then I found out on the forum it was Enhanced Eyes. I was close on my second guess.

I already made this thread. Spoiler the most popular on is blink.

I always liked the possession power. Enabled me to get out some tricky situations! But I voted blink because hey, who doesn't love blink?

I thought it was saying "A heart dies." in a blood-choking kind of way.

Everyone will say blink, but you'll only end up depending on it and becoming a fat ass. The slow down time has the opposite benefit, letting you accomplish tasks in what appears to be record time. You'll be famous in no time!

The only one I use regularly is Blink, so that one.

That "Power" is in Windows, not Dishonored.

Also, it's obviously a stupid one.

Since I'm running a pacifist game first time 'round, my favourite powers right now are the explicitly non-lethal ones. Blink, Dark Vision, Possession, and Bend Time are INSANELY useful for navigating without being seen. I think on my next run, I'm gonna drop the difficulty a bit and make a no-power, unnecessarily violent run. KILL EVERYONE! WITHOUT MAGIC!

I said it once, and I'll say it again:

Blink, because I can be like Nightcrawler. LIKE. NIGHTCRAWLER.

Also, you can choke enemies with it, knock them on the ground (and that is fun to do) and it quickly becomes a life saver for you.
Also, it actually costs you nothing to cast.

Blink is a power that's useful for everything. Moving around, blinking up behind guards, and just scaring the crap out of attackers. For my non-lethal playthrough, a combination of Blink, Bend Time and Possession got me through most situations without a hitch. In my lethal playthrough, I learned the value of rats. Devouring Swarm is crazy powerful, distracting up to 6 different guards, allowing me to slice them to ribbons. 3 or less guards I don't even need to touch, they'll just get eaten on their own.

Almost every power is overpowered in it's own way, really (when upgraded, at least). Blink makes you completely uncatchable and assassination becomes really easy. Possession allows for instant escapes and infiltration without any risk. Darkvision lets you see EVERYTHING, avoid all traps and become so rich you can buy every upgrade available before taking on the Lord Regent. Bend Time basically kills everyone in the room and can be used as invisibility, too. Devouring Swarm really just turns any group of enemies into a all you can eat buffet. The only power I can't abuse completely is Windblast. Powerful, but rather situational and combat is already a confusing blur of swords.

Blink and Bend Time level 2. Has gotten me out of many scrapes with the guards. And Blink because it's awesome, yet insanely practical.

Blink, as it's the most versatile of the powers I've tried.
It can be used both in combat and for sneaking, for exploration, evasion and just making you feel like a badass. Plus, assuming you don't spam it, it doesn't cost mana to cast.

I really like stopping time, hanging a bolt in front of every guard's head, then watching the synchronized lobotomies.

I'll think I'll try a run where I'm not allowed to use Blink, unless it appears impossible to proceed otherwise. Double jump fun times, it will hopefully be.

Dark vision, I like blink but on a pacifist run like what I'm on now just blinking in it is easy to miss an enemy and be spotted, plus the ability to not miss items and see enemies through walls so you know exactly what you'll be up about in my opinion is incredibly useful.

I would actually agree with this, I wish I did not buy this game, especially since I don't like to use stealth in my games!

I wish I knew what grub-hole you sarcastic trolls crawl from so I knew where to toss my grenade beforehand. If you don't have anything to contribute to the topic, then kindly don't post.

[sub]Seriously.[/sub]

OT: I don't have Dishonored, but the ability to summon rats that devour guards alive sounds both useful and awesome.
