So, with the upcoming release of Andromeda, I figured I'd ask the remaining denizens of the Escapist, which of the two colour schemes for the SR-2 Normandy do you prefer?

To toss my hat into the debate, I personally prefer the Cerberus/ME2 colour scheme for the SR-2 Normandy. Regardless of what you think of Cerberus as an organization, I really like the contrast of the black, yellow, and white on the ME2 version of the Normandy.

So which colour scheme was your favourite? Leave your vote, and should you please, a comment on why you voted that way in the comment section.

I preferred the ME3 version.

The tight, cramped spaces made it feel more like a warship while the assorted clutter and evidence of ongoing repairs made it feel more lived in. ME2 version was rather empty and sterile by comparison.

Neither of them. Give me the SR1.

The Normandy in ME2 and ME3 became a chore to walk around and converse with the crew, especially when you'd get to them only to get "sorry, we'll talk later Shepard."

Even more annoying in ME3 when you could go to where they were meant to be only to find out they'd buggered off elsewhere.

Visually I'd say the first Normandy was best even if that elevator was a bit of a pain, but of those I prefer the ME3 Normandy just because it actually feels like a warship again.

See, I actually really liked that about ME3. I felt it gave the companions a bit of a life of their own, plus it was interesting to listen to the crew banter with one another or see where they'd hang out on the Citadel while docked.

ME2's, for both interior and exterior. The Alliance stripes of steel/silver, black, and blue for 3 were fine, but they were a little--- I dunno, cold and lifeless. All in all I simply much preferred the colour palette - as a whole - of 2.

ME3's interior was okay, but it felt like a frikkin' submarine - which is ridiculous given it was a cutting edge sci-fantasy space frigate.

As much as I greatly enjoyed the series, I was never really sold on the Normandy's design, though, and never had much affection for it as a 'character'. Its best moments were probably Joker's, er, killshot against Sovereign in ME1, and the rather nifty reveal of the new Normandy right at the [proper] start of ME2, largely because of the music and the scene between Shep and her trusty pilot.
