Poll: Fixn' Things

My bed (futon),which I have had for about three months, began to fall apart yesterday, and so I did what I do with most of my things when they start to break down, I got out the duct tape. This made me wonder what other people do in similar situations. So my fellow escapists, how do you fix your things when they break?

i fix it with what ever i have to work with, and its been on more then one occasion iv had nothing but duct-tape to worrk with, but it also depends on how broken something is, im pretty good with repairs, but theres a limit, if something going to be unsafe im more likely to replace

OT: I normally fix it, swear at it or destroy it completely.
When I'm in a good mood, I do probably all three.

wrap everything in duck tape. if that fails, i immediately switch to power-tools, the more overpowered and unnecessary the better.

I just run to my dad and look at him with big eyes and ask him to fix it.

... Yeah, that's the beauty of being a teen, living at home.

If it's computer related I can usually fix it myself, but eh.
