Poll: Friday the 13th: Part 11. AWESOME!!!?

Hey,

I haven't posted in awhile but I recently saw the trailer for a new Friday the 13th film. I loved the whole series, and I always wanted another Jason Slasher; cause no one can kill like Jason motherfuckin Voorhees. I always thought it would be impossible but now it's finally here!

I really hope that who ever made the film doesn't fuck it up somehow... I never really considered the storyline but I like it the way it is. I only want to know, how did they bring him back? I will go see the film in feburary. It has alot to live up to, and the good old slasher vibe. I don't want a whinny fucking plot like the more recent horror films.

What do you guys want in the film and whos gonna see it? I got a bet that it will be better then Jason X, but not as good as part 6-8. But will it be good? Will the new guys fuck it up? Will I get into trouble for skipping school to see it with friends? Who knows I want to see what they have done. I hope that if it's good there will be more!

well i am not much on the Jason movies to be fully honnest. I dont see it as a good horror or thriller movie, just a movie that is good at making you jump at random times in a movie. But its always fun to see random unsuspecting horny teens getting killed by a 7 foot tall guy with a hockey mask and a big knife

I'll watch it, I'll love it (for being another Jason movie) but it will be crap. Jason X was awful enough, Friday the 13th part 8 was awful.

But who cares when all the series is trying to do is kill as many people as possible in two hours.

I don't know, I rewatched the trailer and it doesn't seem to be too bad but they went from the stalking stealth terror to the just walking around showing off his "big machete". I am a fan of Jason but if they fuck this up I guess I will have to... write them an unpleasent letter.

I don't think it'll be crap but everyone can enjoy watching a bunch of stupid fucko's getting killed. SEX, DRUGS, AND SLICE AND DICE!!!! i'll enjoy it anyways ;D

Do you think there will be modern, dark 'pop culture' references in this new film?

I hope in the new film there's a scene where some Emo kid is sitting in a park or somewhere, slashing their arm with a razor blade, and Jason pop up and cut's their arm off with his machete, while the kid just bleeds out with an expression of "I didn't really want to die, I just wanted the attention" on his face.

Also a scene where Jason enters the house of some obnoxious racist kid, playing on X-Box Live and being a dick to people whilst chainsawing people on Gear of War and 'loving his badness'.
He's so distracted by the game that he doesn't notice Jason come into the room behind him. SWISH! The camera pans back from the kids face to reveal his decapitate head in Jason's hand, still wearing his Live headset, and his twitching fingers still working the controller.

The funny, OTT and sometimes ironic death scenes are the best parts of a Jason film.

What other 'modern death scenes' do you think/hope will be in the new film?
