my dog has learned the procedure for when me and the lady get busy

he goes and lies next to the bed and waits for me to let him know when its safe to come back up

her cat, on the other had, chooses those moments to decide that im not an asshole and now wants attention

Animals, pets or not, have no business being in the bedroom in the first place, so I don't understand the question.

Seriously, I think people letting their pets run freely around the house are weaklings doing both themselves and their pets a disservice by failing to take control and set boundaries.
this is an interesting view, what makes you feel that way?

I had my dog walk in on me with a girl...and to this day I'm kicking myself for not thinking until after the fact to say "your species invented this position. Good call on that."
Didn't stop laughing for a good few mintues!

It might be a little odd, but nothing that I couldn't be easily shut out when there's some naked woman in front of me on my bed.

I don't particularly care if an animal is present and I don't notice anything, but a staring animal or whatever is a no-no.

Dog's especially are bad at this because when things are going well, noises and smells are generated, which commands the attention of nosey dogs. Especially freaks me out if the dog gets close... Happened several times, I did not approve.

Used to have sex with my (now ex)girlfriend over at her place. Her mom lived there too and she was kind of a cat lady. They would stare at us in the creepiest manner. My gf liked it, but I found it unsettling. We didn't do it at her place much. >.<

Then we stopped doing it much at all. Then we broke up, I moved to Portland and had my first three way. AWESOME TIMES.
Right on!

On topic, I had to ask a girl to evict her dog, as I was about to put the moves on her. She questioned why I wanted the dog moved, which was only a little embarrasing.

It's not something I couldn't cope with, but I don't want my partners dog to think that, just because his mistress puts it in her mouth, that he can do the same...

I'd feel kind of weirded out. To me, it's just the same as having another person in the room, watching.

Prolly cuz I grew up on a farm where the animals where either for work or food.
And I've seen too many ppl ruining their pets (especially dogs) by spoiling them and treating them like children.

I agree, my dogs are not allowed beyond the conseravatory, and they also know that neither conservatory nor garden is their territory. Discipline is good for animals.

I keep my cats out of the bathroom, off of all tables and off the kitchen counter. You know, places where it's unhygienic or unsafe for them.

Why would you keep them out of the bedroom where they can do, and come to, no harm?

EDIT: just read your earlier post. I guess I wouldn't want farm animals roaming the house either, but household pets are for the house. We keep them as clean as you can an animal.

I emboldended the short answer.

Sleeping in rooms where animals roam increases the chances for developing asthma and allergies. Also, cats carry toxoplasmosis and lick their own assholes.

I don't know, that sounds like fear mongering based loosely on fact. A third of all humans are infected with toxoplasmosis, it does us no more harm than a flu. Cats do also carry it but so what, I could catch it from my girlfriend and never know.

Asthma is thought to be caused by a million things, personally I believe it's genetic and only triggered by environmental irritants like cat hair in the air, but I'm no doctor so don't put any stock in that.

I have no counter argument for them licking their arseholes, that is kinda gross, but impressive.

When my cat was younger, he'd always jump onto my lap while I was on the computer.

Unfortunately, there were times when he'd jump up as I'm jerking it.

I would promptly throw him out of the room and continue my business.

Toxo aint normally a problem for healthy ppl, but for those with a bad immunity system (like those with AIDS, babies or the unborn) it may prove fatal. There's a reason kindergardens get panicky and changes the sandbox when the cat shit starts to cumulate.

Anyways, I guess we've hijacked this thread long enough, so...

I prefer privacy to an audience. Mostly because I think my technique is all wrong, and I don't want to be judged.

My ex had a pretty big grey-and-white cat, who used to lay around staring at people making this face:

Suffice to say, I found it rather... distracting.

I guess I'd get it out of the room if it was mine, I can only imagine being slightly "weirded out" (for lack of a better phrase) by it.
