I was recenlty browsing on the internet and came across this article.

Will Gaming Come to Your Multiplex?
Sure, gaming in theaters sounds wicked cool ? but it won't be easy.

Now what i am woundering is why his isnt already done here. I mean there are alot of gamers and although there might be a few issuse with this(price per hour, 12 people) as this article states, if there were something like this here would you rent it?

It's already done here.
But it costs too much for me to try it. I think it's around $150 or something.
The hook it so to it for a birthday party or something, and get people to chip in.

Hmm...maybe I can get some lads to join in my Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising celebration...

I just bought a HD projector and high quality surround sound so i could kind of do this thing in my own home. Itse cheaper in the long run and will be most awesome to play halo on when i'm drunk with friends :D
And this is a stupid idea. The guy from pc world already said why so i wont repeat him, just read the thingy

My local science center throws a gaming convention every year, and they open up their enormous (I mean enormous, 8 stories, wrapping around the ceiling so that no matter where you are in the auditorium it's encompassing your entire field of vision) IMAX theater for competitive gaming. I've never been able to get a spot, but it sounds pretty awesome.
