I'm thrilled about Raiden starring in the next MGS, personally. He was a bad-ass in MGS4.

I think I worded that very wrong. I ment that I just really don't want the series to continue, 4 wrapped it up so nicely but now they are just prolonging the ending of a great series. Due to the title I'm guessing this will be a prequel to 4 but after 2 (unless it's just the beginning of a spin off series.... *shudder*) All you could do with that time period is tell how Sunny got away from the patriots and raiden was captured.

I do think Raiden was a lot better in 4. But thats the problem, he's too bad ass in a completely different way then what snake was. The series has always been about the story and developing the characters, thats why people didn't like him in 2 and if they try to develop him here they will hate him all over again. If they try to go a different way and just try to have him destroy anything in his path the fans will complain about not having a story and how they should have ended the story before.

OOh, and can I say the artists already screwed up on rising, the series is about genetics yet they got Raiden's eye color wrong.

I buy DLC compulsively. When I get a game that I really enjoy, I quickly buy up all the content that I can for it.

Not one of the top games, but still better than FFX and a whole lot of other games.

And I can't really say I have any guilty gaming pleasures. Tried a few Japanese porn games, but they were nothing I felt like keeping around.
