Anyone else hyped up for Guild Wars 2? The first game was great. and with all the new features, it looking to be one of the best mmorpgs.

yeah they announced it will keep its buy to play, instead of a pay to play.

Hell Yeah! - GW1 is already awesome (still play it every weekend) and GW2 is even going to be way better!

GW2 is going to have changes not possible in a update. the world completely changed, jumping, no instanced areas (atleast not many), new races, and alot more.

the best part of guild wars was the lifetime subscription that came with the game. Goodstuff. But the game iself really was lacking a special smtn in my eyes.

It's the sequal to my favorite game of all time, I can't wait for it but at the same time I'm going to be sad to move on from guild wars 1 after 5 years.

Guild Wars was however one of the better MMO's I've play in my life.

Incredibly hyped, Guild Wars is my most played game of all time. They havn't announced a feature I don't like thus far.

I'm kinda excited. Since you don't have to pay to play I most likely will buy it but the first game was missing something to make it an really enjoyable experience. That said, it is probably the best not-pay-to-play MMO.

I'm a big GW fan. Been waiting for this thing for a while.
Also, all the races seem to be furry related except humans.

Sure it sounds quite good, I recently bought the Guild Wars Factions collectors edition (I don't usually buy collectors editions but it was only about 3 pounds more expensive than the regular edition so what the hell. Plus it has a mousemat! I needed a mousemat...) and it seems cool so far. I'm finding it difficult to get into, but that's because I'm not used to MMO games...

If I keep enjoying it I'll definitely pick up Guild Wars 2.

If anyone plays GW:Factions, do you want to hook up in game and do some quests? I don't know anyone who plays it and need some GW mates

The new one looks good, tho I wouldn't really call it a MuhMorPuhGuh. It's an MMO in the same sense that Diablo 2 was an MMO, just with a graphical city rather than a chat room between sessions.

The no-subscription thing was kinda nifty tho.

Also, is it just me, or are the moderators going on a rampage? Both Hibilub and Sevro91210 have been banned.

GW is according to xfire my most played game so I guess I have to buy this. Really glad it doesn't take half a year to get max level and start the end game. Also the world vs. world pvp is something I was missing in GW1 which will be cool. There I can go pvp and not be ashamed of my low skill level.

I loved the first Guild Wars and that I could always return to it at any time. That was always a deal maker for me.
