Half life 2 for the PC has just been updated with achievements. Are you going to replay it to get them? If so which level are you must looking forward to getting? How 'anal' will you be in getting them all?

I think I will replay at some point. Just to get one or two of them.

I haven't even tried playing HL2 on the PC since I played it first on the 360 (Orange Box on 360, then moved to PC.)

I got most of the achievements there so I have no feeling of needing to replay 'em.

I have it on the Orange Box for X-Box 360 anyway, and already have all the Half Life 2 achievements, though some in episode 2 elude me.

I thought it already did have achievements....? I did play it as part of the orange box though so does that change anything?

EDIT: whoops I'm an idiot - you were talking about the PC version. I'll just go sit in the corner now....

Since I beat it one time and didn't like it too much, I have no plans to replay it.
This reason is doubled by the fact that I don't care about achievements at all.

Meh, I don't care for achievements. I've replayed the game many times already, and probably will again. But not for achievements.

In other news, Half Life 2 and its episodes are discounted. So score!

Unfortunately the achievements mean absolutely nothing on Steam/PC.
Which is really a shame because it makes me less and less interested in bothering to get them instead of just experiencing the game. I think the only achievements I've ever been interested in getting on Steam/Valve games is the Something Left To Prove (or w/e the achievements for beating all the campaigns on expert was).
Even then it was more of a personal, I know I can do this, so I want to get it.

Yeah, but not right now because I have exams (stupid stupid exams >). I kinda intended to replay it anyway, so why not earn some achievements in the process?

The only "achievement" which was really an achievement was that send the garden gnome to space thingy in episode 2. Now that's what I call an achievement..

Dammit you beat me to it.

But yeah, I'll probably play through it again. But probably not until I get a new computer, because my current one sucks hai[bleeeeeeep]

Nope, not going to play a game I didn't like that much the first time around for SHINY PRIZES.

Already started playing again. But the updated graphics is more the excuse to play again because I don't care about achievements.

Played it already on the 360, so I'll only get it on the PC when it comes out in the enevitable Half-Life mass release when Episode 3 comes out.
