Poll: Halo 3 Annual Achievement

Johnn Johnston (master of puns) and I tried to get this one a while ago with a couple of friends, but my connection gave out with about a minute of the level to go. So I'm wondering if anyone on here has got it already, and if they haven't, if they want to get online at some point over the next week and complete it with us. Obviously, we'd only need two people, so if there is a lot of interest, we'll try to choose as fairly as possible.

And on every attempt I've tried since, the connection of one or more of the others has cut at around about the same point. It's quite an annoying co-incidence.

I was trying to do it with friends and we had everything set up and was all good to go... we were at it for like 2 hours and finally made it.... then WE REMEMBERED WE FORGOT TO TURN THE DAMN SKULL ON!!!

Yes, and it was pretty fun. And I did it again with another friend just to have some fun and help him out.

Johnn, I think you're cursed in some way. That's pretty much the only explanation for that.

Everyone else, if any of you are interested/available to do it this evening, say starting in around an hour or two*, then we'll get the ball rolling ASAP.

*Yes, I realise it'll be afternoon for most of you guys, but I'm British. It's roughly 7 or 8pm UTC so you should be able to work it out from there.

Found three people off the xbox360achievements.org forums to do it with. Only problem was that those forums are filled with boosters for other achievements, which makes searching a bit of a pain.

Yeah, I did consider that forum, but everyone on here is extremely civilised, which, for an online forum, is very rare. And I think most of the people on those forums would probably yell at me for being mediocre at playing the game anyway.

I had the same problem with connection fucking up near the end but then about a month afterwards some friends of mine said they wanted to get it so I joined in. It was hellafun and took about 70 minutes (a lot of deaths). Good luck to anyone who has yet to obtain it.

Same sort of time if possible. Maybe earlier, depending on what Mr Johnston is watching on TV.

EDIT: Seems there's not much on. I might not be able to make it on that early, but as soon as we're all online after 8:30, we'll go for it. It could be as late as 10 again, but still, if we're ready, we'll do it.
