And i have to say, Reach, although i like all of them, i admit it isn't the shooter that god made, and it is over hyped, but i like it simply because of one word...every game should be it...

Halo:CE my first game, and my favourite one, i have yet to play Reach though, seen it all though, good ending.

I liked the first one for it's co-op mode and how you could very easily cheat (one guy stays back, while other guy runs in, dies then respawns and the other guy takes his turn and dies while the first guy stays back), it made it fun.

Was fun to kill yourself multiple times by throwing yourself down an elevator shaft then throw a nade down, BOOM!

The vehicles were fun aswell, the warthog with it's crazy suspension ... good times.

But over all it was pretty standard.

Played a bit of the second and wasn't impressed and I haven't bothered with the rest of the milking series.

Halo was good, but Halo 2 was better.
And Halo 3 was better then both of them.

Halo: CE was amazing but the last level destroyed the game for me, not mentioning the pathetic and infuriating alien voice cast. Also I loved the library level. Shotgun bonanza!!

Halo 2 was great too but removed the things that made Halo: CE awesome . Battle Rifle instead of the Assault rifle, simplified health bar and they purged the overshield/invicibilty abilities. Also the soldiers who tried to be somewhat ethnic with their fake Voice Acting gives me nightmares to this very day.

Halo 3 on the other hand got everything right (except the health bar) that they had developed all these years. All voicework we're finally durable and even excellent, assault rifle back in place, mounted guns that you could take with you and the Gravity Hammer. That they ended the game with a car chase similiar to the first but with a physic engine that you could negotiate with made the game for me.

Music however was excellent through the entire trilogy, probably the best in gaming ever.

Reach is my favorite.

Reach has some of the best in game play and the best story. I loved Combat Evolved, but Master Chief was a bland character, though he did gain a bit of personality in 3. Reach had characters I could actually care about and a fun story. I enjoyed the vehicles and the weapons.
The multiplayer has the fun factor of the second Halo game, which is a real plus for me.

But I played every single one, and the music makes the mediocre shooter godamn worth it.
