I'd vote for Bioware, personally. Only they could handle an RPG of such scale.

Square Enix could as well, but I don't think the JRPG would work as well for this particular franchise.

Halo has an amazing expanded universe, and an RPG that explores it would be truly amazing.

I can't imagine a successful Halo RPG but then I won't refuse it if its good just cause its Halo. (It will get quite a bad reception however I assume)

Probably won't work, but I don't think the series lends itself well to much beyond the traditional shooter setting. The best route I can see it taking is a Mass Effect approach, specifically 2 where armor can't be changed on the fly and weapons are more or less set in stone, squad customization being more about upgrades and powers. The issue of powers is still there though, and retconning new types of people to fill the 'power' gap will most likely seem half-assed. So really they'd need to try something different, but considering how weak Wars ended up being as an RTS I'm skeptical that they can make another genre jump successfully.

So you would rather destroy the brands image just to pay for the developers.
So if there is Halo THE RPG! and it is UTTER shit! You would buy the HALO THE RPG 2... Lets say if you know from others that it is shit too... You would buy it?

No, I wouldn't, because I don't like Halo. I'm not the target audience.

If the target audience is willing to shell out money for it, keep milking that cow for all it's worth.

Most flagship franchises tend to fall into the "We can sell anything as long as it's ". I think Halo could've fallen into that category very easily. So I encourage the companies to benefit from that.

Being that openly support faceless, uncaring companies that seek to do exactly what they're supposed to do.
