Simple. Has a song ever caused you to cry?
Or in my case at least have your eyes "well up"
Regardless, only two songs have the power to put me into a saddened state and they are:
Clair De Lune by(written) Claude Debussy
AND
Adagio for Strings by(written) Samuel Barber

Well, there's a certain song, but it doesn't really count because that's what I was listening to when my childhood dog was dying.

In general, music doesn't really put me in a sad mood, though partly because I wind up actively avoiding such music. I don't want to be sad, and I have enough real-life problems to turn to if that ever changes.

Of course, I don't really feel like music is all that important to me. I'll listen to it, of course, but I turn more to the visual arts for emotional experiences.
The incessant crackling in my ear that I really hope isn't a joint issue in my jaw is probably part of it. >.>

Yes. Two of them:

Blood Brothers by Iron Maiden
It's a great song with a powerful message that caused me to tear up
about 7 years ago. Reminded me of better times with my dad and brother.

Within a Mile of Home by Flogging Molly
It was my ex and I's song. We went through a tough breakup and I cried
for weeks afterward every time I heard this song. I still mist up when I hear it today.

Yes, of course it has. Plenty of songs have. I probably couldn't even name them all if I tried. And one of them is the same as yours, OP.

Although, it was this particular version that did it to me:

There was one time where I was feeling rather down, and it was that persistent "Want to cry but can't" sad, so I decided that I was going to shed a couple tears and get it out of my system. So I played Hallelujah and forced myself to cry. I managed about two piss-weak tears for the entire song. So no, a song has never made me cry, but one has helped me when I really felt it was necessary (I have a habit of yawning instead of crying. You know that 'welling up' feeling? It makes me yawn instead of cry, so I was ready to cry, but needed to pull out all the stops to get past that stupid block)

"Love Me As Though There Were No Tomorrow" by Nat King Cole.

I heard it while playing New Vegas. I had felt cold and warm at the same time. I also felt a huge lump in my throat from trying to hold back. Almost made me stop playing.

As with most Nat King Cole songs, it's the way he sings that gets to you. Damn good if you ask me.

I would like to second the Clair De Lune; Debussy was a genius.

If you've never cried due to a song, try this:

`Everybody Hurts` by REM used to make me cry.
Also, there was a song playing (I dont know what it is called) on the radio when I found out about my parents divorce, it was a sad song and I've only heard it once or twice since then, but it made me cry when I heard it again.

I don't know why, but "Hero of War" by Rise Against makes me tear up a little bit.

It's just a really moving song...

I shed a tear because I imagined how my life would be if my finacee died. And that was only about three nights ago.

Stan Rogers Witch of the Westmoreland can usually bring a few tears to my eyes. Which is strange since the song isn't heat wrenching or sad. Think it might be a subconscious link or something.

Songs have made me quite sad before, sometimes even extremely sad with the story there being played to, but never has a song made me come to tears.

I answered slightly. I was listening to "Blackbird" by the Beatles while I was looking at articles and pictures from the Japanese Earthquake. The combination of the song and the impact of the disaster had me weeping.

Yeah, not for years, though. 'Cancer' by My Chemical Romance made me weep back when I was 16. It still makes me feel sad now
'Vermillion pt. 2' by Slipknot also makes me depressed, but not in a touching and pulling-the-heart-strings kinda way, just in a 'fuck me, this is sooo depressing' kinda way
