Once, I almost beat the highest score of all on a game. Then, suddenly, the computer changed. There was something about buying the perfect present displayed on my screen. I was so mad I almost threw the mouse, but not quite so mad.

For Flash games and the like, my customized ad-blocking solution works very well for preventing that sort of thing.
As for retail games, I've yet to see a clickable ad in one, and if such a game existed that would be a damn good argument against buying it.

If Im playing on newgrounds or kongregate or somethin and things start getting hectic, yea I may accidently click off screen and fuck my whole game up...though I reserve mouse throwage for those unexpected power outages that ruin everything...
