Once, I suppose. I failed a test and had to re-do it, but during class the day before the teacher went through the test and told us all the answers.

Another time I had to re-do a math test. The teacher placed me in an empty class room and told me to bring her the test when I was done. It was like she wanted me to cheat... I didn't have the book however, so I couldn't. Failed again!
I hate math.

Never on important tests, but sometimes on really pointless in class tests I knew were coming I'd cheat. My most elaborate cheat included pre-writing an essay for an in-class essay, using the internet and my books to make it top dollar, and handing it in having spent the entire lesson writing a story.

Not on important tests, but tests where the teacher doesn't even bother to move you away from the person next to you so I can't help but glance.

Yes and today in fact

Web test that ended up being done from home due to bad weather conditions - had 4 questions on a topic I was hazy on so just opened the class notes quickly and put answers in.

To be fair they did say "if you're gonna cheat do it fast since time is limited" so they didn't exactly discourage it

I've never cheated on a test, but I have once let a friend copy from me on a math test. I got more than 90%, he almost failed. He didn't even manage to copy properly.

We called it "Joint Test Taking." Three of us together in one tight spot who knew different parts of the subject matter well would share responses with the others who weren't as good. Took the professor about 3 tests before he caught on.

Yes I did go there once. About 20 years ago, in elementary school, I was the master of spelling in my classroom and had gotten perfect 100s on each test. During one test, I suddenly found myself unprepared for a test. I couldn't bear to lose my perfect record and tried to peek at my book. Luckily, I was caught and never tried to do it again.

Who hasn't?

I once cheated by writing down from a fellow student's paper who was writing from another student and so on and so forth. What? I really hated Chemistry...

Ofcourse I have, remembering thousands of history or literature facts for the half hour when I use them... I felt more of a dumbass trying to actually learn that sh*t.

And the stuff that I was good at(had enough interest) I would solve my test then swap with mates so they would get a good grade, then solve the other to still pull off a decent grade for myself.

Well you haveto do something to entertain yourself in school.

Our calculator's had a letter function, and we were each assigned a specific calculator. In addition to leaving each notes for each other, I would type in instructions for how to do things before a quiz.

Theorems and that sort of thing as well.

Ever? Yes.

(In case of several absurd occurrences involving my professors and tracking of IP, I should mention that I've never cheated since I entered uni.)

My American History test for the WWII chapter.

I'm bad at remembering numbers and dates so there was no way I was gonna remember the date of Kristallnacht and when the Germans surrendered. I also needed to know how many troops we had on Normandy and estimated deaths at Auschwitz so I wrote the answers on my desk and covered it with my arm as he handed out the test so he wouldn't see it
