I had to give up drinking (blood pressure), but once or twice I've posted here when I went off the wagon. I don't do that anymore. Binges are taboo, too.

Happily I didn't do or say (type) anything I regretted.

On the other hand I've seen a few threads that were made by people when they were self-admittedly very drunk. They were fun to behold.

And then there are a few posters who regularly post while knocking back drinks (you know who you are O_- ). Most of the time there's little change. Others times...well...

Topic Of Discussion: Have you posted drunk? And if so did you say/do anything funny or that you regretted later?

I've done it a few times, yes. Not when I was completely smashed or anything, but just mildly drunk... Didn't post anything out of the usual though.

Nope.

I don't drink to get drunk to begin with, so that takes care of that.

However, I do enjoy a good drunk thread though. Makes for best comments and hilarity. :D

Sometimes. If I come home from a party or something and I'm drunk, I'll usually post a little here and in ponychat before heading to bed, sometimes ending in horrible realizations when I wake up.

Nope, don't see the point in drinking and then just sitting at the computer, I only ever drink to socialize.

Oh yes, all the time.
Fun timing, I'm actually drinking right now, though I would not consider myself drunk at present. When I post I tend to get a bit frisky, which is apparently good fun for the people of the chat.

I've never actually been drunk. It's kind of hard to drink enough when you can't stand the taste of alcohol.

Probably, I've a habit of cracking out my laptop after a night out and making an utter fool out of myself on facebook (If you think the drunken ex call is embarrassing, try the drunken ex facebook-wall rant), so it's likely I've made the odd post on here that wasn't entirely sober. I can't remember any specifics though, you'd have to look out for any of my posts that have abysmal grammar and spelling. Or if I'm incredibly bitter about something.

Actually that reminds me, there's this:

I'm usually far less douchey than that, and I can't for the life of me remember posting it. That said, I have remarkable spelling for a drunk.

I'm drinking from a nice cooled bottle of Aspali right now. Id say a third of my posts are drunk posts. Just wait for my paddys weekend marathon!

What's Aspali? For some reason that reminds me of a kind of seltzer water that was popular back in the 80's (though, given the subject I doubt it's seltzer water).

Amusingly when im drunk I post more coherently as usual because drunk me is super self conscious about filling the "Stupid entitled obnoxious drunk teenager" trope. I use perfect spelling and grammar even though it takes about 500 tries because I dont wanna appear stupid. I actually read through and think about my posts more because drunk me is screaming "MAKE SURE THAT DOESNT READ LIKE YOURE DRUNK!"

Perhaps drink posting should be my norm.

Oh yeah, of course. I go out and drink with friends fairly often and when I get back the first thing I do is usually turn on my laptop and lurk around my forums since early morning here is prime posting time for people across the pond. I don't think I've ever posted anything utterly stupid though; maybe my spelling goes slightly wonky and I have to check what I've posted a couple more times than usual, but other than I'm pretty restrained. I'm not really an 'open-my-mouth-and-speak-total-bollocks' drunk anyway, so I don't type like that when drunk either. Now, when I'm sober, that's when I talk rubbish!

Had a fun birthday thread a number of months back where I got completely hammered. As others have stated my grammar and spelling improve greatly as my sobriety lowers. I seem to notice things more when I'm drunk.

OT: Nah, I've only ever gotten... drunk(? Not really. Close to it though I guess sort of?) when socializing and I don't go around posting on internet forums if I'm talking with people.

I meant to say Aspall. It's a cider. I like to try as many different types of cider as possible.

It's very good. Carson's Crisp is still my favourite though.

Several times. Marter, do you remember those times? I don't think I was too different for most of them. I can't really remember them, forum activity is just a blur for me all the time anyway. XD
