I was wondering if there is anyone in the world(on this forum) who HASN'T played angry brids

All versions count from the iPhone to Android to PC to X-box to PS3 to wherever else it is!

I sure have. I had it on my jailbroken 3G, now I have the rio free version on my iPhone4, and I have it on my PS3.

I don't think I've played Angry Birds itself.

But I've played countless Flash games before and after it came to be that are the exact same thing.

Played it on a friends iPhone. It was entertaining, but not enough for all the hype I've heard of it. A lot of people keep praising it so much, but i honestly didn't get it. Maybe I didn't play it enough...

Downloaded the free version to try it out and didn't really find it very fun. A co-worker got it at the exact same time and was hooked. To each his own.

Same here. I was thinking just that when an article here on The Escapist a few weeks back stated that we should look at the 'casual gaming' market for innovation. Because re-packaging free Flash games and polishing them up a bit is so innovative.

I've never played it and I don't need to because i've played flash games with the same basic concept. I don't see why it's so popular when there are tons of other games that do what Angry Birds does and better.

It gets ridiculous when you actually have to think "Wait, did I play Angry Birds, or did I play a Flash game that's exactly the same as Angry Birds?". I actually had to think that for a while before I posted, because I wasn't quite sure. The worst thing about the whole "innovation in casual gaming" argument is that stuff like Angry Birds and Zynga's worthless shit are the leaders of the market, and Angry Birds is about 99% derivative (the 1% is because they added birds) and Zynga's games have somehow or other managed to be more than 100% derivative.

Nope. Not into that sort of gaming. I don't have the phone for it either (Blackberry Curve that I only use for calls and tethering). And my iPod is a Classic (yes, I really do need all that space. And it's durable as hell), so that's a no-go as well.

I got it for my phone to see what all the hype was about, it`s a good time killer when you are waiting for something and all you have for entertainment is your phone, but its no better than any other pointless cell phone game, i played it like 3 times.

It's a great game that you can just pick up and play anywhere. I've had my phone taken from me by friends because they wanted to play it. Sure it may just like a lot of other flash games out there(crush the castle is the better one), but it's nice to have on your phone as a time waster.

Not until the free version came out on Google. The sound effects crack me right the hell up, and I do a level or two every now and again.
