This is something I've been wondering about for a while (if it has already been discussed, please let me know) - given the success of HD Collections on PS3 and 360, who here considers it likely that the same idea will be carried on to the next gen consoles, and if so, how soon will they start being released? I do believe they will happen, but I'm unsure as to the timeframe - Sony and MS may want to wait, or they may release Halo and Uncharted Full HD Collections as launch games.

Given that the general standard of quality for the current crop of HD Collections involves taking a 480i/p@30fps game and turning it into a 720/1080p@60fps game, I'd like for collections on the Gen-8 consoles to turn 720p@30fps (with a resolution drop in 3D, Uncharted 3 for example sinks to 896x504 according to Digital Foundry) games into 1440p/1080p3D@60fps. Personally, I think it would be smart - imagine if Sony released the PS4 with The Uncharted Full HD 3D Collection with all 3 games running in native 1080p-per-eye 3D at 60 frames per second, Uncharted 4, and a pack containing both for a cheaper price. What would you like to see released as a collection?

e: Dammit, part of the poll got deleted and now it refuses to be edited. Option 3 should be 'Maybe - I find it likely that we'll see them', and Option 5 should be 'No. We'll never see PS3/360 games re-released in collections'.
