So yeah i don't want to waste money on a game that may not be worth it. I only played a bit of destiny's demo and i am asking destiny players to inform me to if it is worth buying or not and or to just get Mortal Kombat 10 instead.

Destiny is decent, but not enough content and nothing special. There are much better shooters out there that you can buy. Hell, if you WANT a FPS with Rpg elements to it, all three Borderlands games are probably much cheaper at this point.
Mortal Kombat X is a good fighting game, if that's what you like then that's what I would recommend between the two.

Uhhh...Neither, obviously. Get State of Decay or Mass Effect 3. Maybe try your hand at Bioshock or Bioshock Infinite. Can't go wrong with the campy and cheesy Earth Defense Force series. You know, good games.
Destiny is good if you like boring games without a plot.

I know I am to late but I have got and played both and I am a fighting game fan. Out of those 2 MKX is by far the better choice on PS4 just dont get it on PC from what I have heard.
Honestly though I sorta regret getting either MKX is not terrible but its probably the worst fighter out there atm without going into pure trash territory, the story is also garbage compared to MK9. Overall I found it a letdown with poor single player content (something theta 9 did well at) subpar fighting mechanics (again not terrible though and not trash like MKs before 9) and a janky netcode.
In comparison to Destiny however it is a masterpiece but then Destiny is one of the most boring uninspired tedious ripoff games I have ever played. If I was limited to recommending PS4 fighters GG xrd or Skullgirls 2nd Encore are both far superior and likely cheaper as well. SFV is also coming next year which is looking good from what i have seen.

Destiny is a great way to meet and make friends. Mkx is a great way to lose friends.
