Poll: Highschool of the Dead 'H.O.T.D'

So I am watching a new Anime series that must have come out this year called Highschool of the Dead. It takes a very realistic and graphic approach to the zombie apocalypse, including the moral decisions one would have to make about who to save, when to kill (nonzombies), when to rest.

Of course, in real world the children probably would not get so lucky as to have a teacher who was friends with one of the very few people in all of Japan to have military grade weapons. I mean, I have them but I live in America where I only need to get a special permit to buy a tank (and turn signals to make it street legal, but I digress (I really want a tank, for mud driving, it is fun to ride in the mud, hehe)).

I saw it free online at http://www.animefreak.tv/watch/highschool-dead-online which I believe is legal (I think, PM me if the site is not). I would like to discuss the show with anyone.

Ehhh.
Its not my type of show.

The who point of the series was to see how much Fanservice they could fit into a Zombie Apocalypse.
And aside from the HUUUUUUUUUUGE amounts Fanservice the story is average, but the shout outs to older movies and the art style is interesting, though iv only been able to find 3 characters i can relatively stand.
All the others could Die in a ditch and i don't think anything of value would be lost.

After seeing a bit iv no desire to continue the series.
Not really my kind of thing even though i do love Gore.

I haven't watched the show, so I can't say I like or dislike it.

However, I do dislike what I've been seeing of it on sites like Sankaku.
It sounds like something made exclusively for teenagers. It's got sex, gore and not much else. Even the creators have been quoted as saying they want jiggling breasts in every episode.
Anime/manga creators just have no clue how to handle sex properly. It's either absurdly porno-like, or it's more like a conquest to show off how awesome a character is.
"I just slept with two chicks, I'm so fucking awesome I can't stand it."

I will say they could have toned down the sex by 90% and it would be better. I mean what is the point of showing all of the females in the show half-naked all the time and bouncing.

(For those who might think I am joking, I am not. I have a very low sex drive, and I honestly do not want a higher one. I have never fully understood that part of human nature.)

Yeah they can. Zombies are basically shambling along on two peg legs anyway. It isn't like there's blood and working muscle in them.

Zombie Pirates would be immune to most ranged attacks and poisons. You also wouldn't be able to blind them and they'd still find you in the dark through smell alone.
Ninjas would be owned unless they hid in trees the whole time.

The trees are where ninjas walk anyway. So of course the ninja is going to jump out of the tree to defeat the pirate.

It's Definitely for the fan service, but I have yet to actually seek out another zombie apocalypse anime. This just happened to be uploaded and I was like, "Hell, Why not?"

The whole storyline is very circumstancial but does it need to be "realistic" to appease viewers?

Fanservice is clearly quite an effective thing to include in shows, almost all anime uses it to some degree, so why is it that everyone always mentions it's inclusion as a negative? To hell with you all, I for one am standing up for cartoon boobs and the richness they add to our lives.

Anyway I've been planning to watch HOTD since before the first episode aired, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Once I finish some stuff I'm currently watching I'll probably get to it. I've heard its pretty entertaining from some people though.
