Hey guys, I was just wondering how many of the escapists were hockey fans, and what your teams are. I'm a Vancouver fan myself.

I live in Canada. It is law that I must be a hockey fan.

I also live in Calgary, and therefore must cheer for the Flames.

And since you like Vancouver, you are now my mortal enemy (just like if you cheer for the Oilers).

I watched it with my grandmother when I was a kid and I really enjoyed it, but I'm not much of a fan now. It's okay.

I don't like Hockey that much.

I have to play Hockey at uni this Semester, I suppose I'll respect it a little more once I've played it. That's what happened with AFL.

Also, I'm assuming you're talking about Ice Hockey? I'm not a fan of that either.

FUCK YES. Ottawa Senators fan here. Living in Guelph sucks, since all the Leafs fanboys gush all the time.

Also, Boston. If my home team can't win, I go for the original six, and then Boston from that.

I like Field Hockey. Playing is awesome and I even enjoy watching it. It's the only sport I would sit down and watch. Ice Hockey no. To me thats just not hockey.

Corpus Christi, Texas is a fan of hockey. No kidding.

The city did put it to vote and settled on the Ice Rays as a team. Yes a hockey team in South Texas, a place that never sees ice naturally. I would like to think everyone in the city saw that a hockey team was a choice and just voted for it because they all thought it was a joke.

I was a huge Atlanta Thrashers fan while the team was here in Georgia. I'm just generally a hockey fan these days, even if I do absolutely loathe Pittsburgh and Winnipeg.

Well. The fanbase in Winnipeg, anyway.

It's just about the only sport I can watch without getting bored. It's really fast-paced and the score can turn on dime, not to mention the fights that break out. :D

My love of hockey and my love of cold weather (Despite having lived in Florida for my entire life) leads me to believe that my parents adopted me from a Canadian family.

I do so enjoy hockey. Sadly, since I don't have cable anymore I don't watch it much anymore. Being from Texas, I am a fan of the Dallas Stars. Crap, I need to check out their new stadium. Hmmm....perhaps it's time to round up the friends for a hockey roadtrip.

Absolutely. Being in Ontario means I have to choose sides between the Senators and the Leafs. And let me tell you, being a Leafs fan can be depressing sometimes.

Nope, not a sport a follow.

Doesn't say much since I don't follow any sport, but at least the ones off ice get featured in the newspapers daily.

Live in Edmonton, therefore I cheer for the Leafs.

I also cheer for the Kings, because my friend's brother plays on the team.

The Leafs are doing well this season though, they're actually seated in the playoffs right now. Granted, there's still half a season, but if they keep it up, who knows. Particularly with the trend in recent years that low-seated teams usually have a really good run during the SCP.
