The question is simple. Don't forget to add WHY you feel the way you do.

For my own vote, I'm a strong supporter of homosexuality, though I'm by no means gay myself. I firmly believe that, as long as it's not hurting anyone else, people should be able to live their lives however they damn well please. This includes being able to love and marry whomever they please.

So, escapists, How do YOU feel? And remember, tell us why you feel that way.

EDIT: Just so people will stop spouting it off, I realize that this is rather poorly phrased. I think most of you can glean my meaning though, without needing to point out that I could have worded this differently.

I support it, but thats kind of a given since I'm bisexual with my pendulum swinging more towards the homosexual side of things.

I am definitely not gay myself but I don't see why people should be persecuted for something they have no control over. It's not like they choose to be gay, much like the rest of us don't choose to be straight - we just are.

I'm totally indifferent to someone's sexual preference.

What people may or may not do behind closed doors is none of my business. Whatever floats their boat, really.

Pretty vague subject that's been done before, but oh well. I support it because I realize it's not my place to tell people how to live. Every gay person I've met was nothing but nice. I really have no reason to oppose it.

How long before someone votes against it I wonder? Will he be a troll?
Anyway, I am for it, for everything you've already put

I'm indifferent, I don't support it, because I think its wrong. But honestly, I couldn't care less. I'm certainly not going to persecute gay people, I treat them the same as anyone else.

Well I am gay so I'd be a bit of a hypocrite if I was against it.

Saying that I was brought up as a strong believing christian and told that being gay was a sin for most of my young life, so that really messed me up when I found out I was gay. >.<

Ever piece of evidence we have had on the subject seems to indicate biological origins, it would be cruel to not support something that its participants had no choice over.

This site is pretty modern and progressive, I really doubt that a large number of people will be completely against homosexuality unless they are trolling.

Homosexuality is considered a natural deviation of human sexual tendencies. Hell, even if it wasn't it's none of our business who a person wants to have sex with. As long as it doesn't hurt anybody there's absolutely no reason it should be frowned upon.

Personally I don't believe that it is genetic or whatever. There must be some psychological trigger to it, and when something is psychological you can never be 100% certain that is voluntary or not. I mean, in families with multiple boys, the younger boys are statistically more likely to turn out homosexual, so I very much doubt it's genetic, and frankly I wouldn't see the point in an allele which made it far less likely for the carrier to reproduce or why it's so common. However, I see no reason why homosexual thoughts or acts should be illegal because they do no harm to anyone else and people should have the choice to do these things if they want to. I am indifferent. I just don't fully believe that people have no control over it or that it is wrong.

This thread really doesn't need to exist. Anyone who doesn't "support" homosexuality is right on the same level with those who don't "support" ethnicities other than Caucasian. Racism and Homophobia should not be tolerated.

Not to mention that this has been discussed thousands of times here and everywhere else.

What does it mean to 'support' it? I acknowledge its existence and see no problems with it. I don't think the law should discriminate between straight and gay partnerships in any sense. Does that mean that I support it, or that I am indifferent to it?

There probably was a better way of phrasing the question, really.

Lets be honest however, there are two types of gay people.(Not that I"m insinuating that we treat them any different)People who are born that way, they like the same sex and find them attractive. Then there are "pretenders", people who claim to be gay so they can, prove a point, be different, for the smex, ect, and this type more or less choose their sexuality. It kind of blurs the line when on the topic of gay people.
Also, if someone is dedicated to a religion that says homosexuality is wrong that is a homosexual, thats not a get out of rules free card. Your either break your religion or you follow your desires.

People like what they like. Homosexuality is basically a fetish. Like if I was only attracted to blondes, or feet, or small breasts, or big breasts. Gays just like people with their own junk. And who cares, its no ones business but their own. Just like its no one's business what I'm into.

I say, as long as it effects no one other than the person doing it and other consenting adults, go for it. And I take that to heart with not just sex, but everything.

I'm not for it or against it, as long as gay people do their thing away from me than I'm all good. The only time I have a problem with it is if they hit on me or flirt with each other in front of me and that just creeps me out. As long as they act normally in front of me I don't care what sexual preference you have or what you do behind closed doors far away from me.

Why do you think it's wrong? I'm just curious.
