It's time for another thread asking about the most mundane aspects of life! :D

After a long day of work, school, jury duty, fighting, ect. It's time to kick back and relax.

How do you like to sit down?

I find myself sitting in either a criss cross formation or propping my legs up on something. Mainly the former when I'm playing video games.

I am most comfortable when sitting cross-legged or, more commonly, reclining like an overfed and hedonistic Roman senator.

I like my legs straight out or sometimes bunched up. They get stiff after a while in more complicated poses like cross-legged etc.

It doesn't matter how I position my legs, I MUST lead back against the chair back after a hard day work!

Anyway to answer the OP, I tend to crossed my leg (right on left) when I sit down after work.

On my arse

-----------

In order to avoid low content im gonna say feet up, lean back with 2 big arm rests. As close to lying down as possible is usually a safe bet

i like to sit kinda straight in the car. I like to have a good commanding driving position while in control of the vehicle. I dont feel I get that when I recline plus ive got some big comfy half-buckets which give you comfort and support

I have the most obscenely comfortable leather reclining sofas which I like to throw myself over- they're so comfortable that they're completely impossible to get up from, which can actually be a massive pain in the balls. I can't tell you how many episodes of shitty TV I've seen because I couldn't be fucked to get up and reach the remote.

I wish I could actually lounge and relax in my chair, but doing so is extremely uncomfortable. When I buy my next chair I'm going to make sure it is a chair that I can practically curl up and fall asleep in. My current chair is missing an arm rest and makes these loud thumps when I shift positions or lean.

Dunno, I'm a bit a fidgeter ... I only sit in one position for about 5 or so minutes before shifting.

Legs out straight, one over the other, up, down, like I'm on the shitter, leaning forward, leaning back ... and a mixture of everything.

The only things I don't do, is sit on my feet, you know how (typically a girl) will walk over to a couch, put one foot on it and kind of spin and sit at the same time? So the legs are in the classic triangle lock position?

The horizontal leg touching the floor

And I don't sit with my heels touching my ass and I am sitting more on my hips, like how a dogs back legs are (when they aren't laying like a sphinx) when they are laying down.

Really it depends on what I'm playing. If I'm playing online or anything competitive, I tend to sit up straight. If I'm playing something more casual like an RPG or platformer I tend to recline more.

I try not to sit down too much; if I can, I'd preffer to stand. But when I do sit, I'll usually sit pretty normally; legs on the floor, trying my best to resist the urge of swinging my chair.

I reposition myself too often to pick just one - but one that I notice very few other people do which I often pick is sitting with one leg up, ankle sitting on top of the other legs knee. It's probably terrible for circulation but as I said, I reposition often.

I sit on my left foot for some reason when I'm in a chair, or with my legs crossed one way or another.

Well I usually end up sitting on my left leg which is stupid because it cuts off circulation and makes my leg dead so I fall on my face or hobble when I get up. Otherwise I have my are legs crossed most the time.

Cross-legged, with my right leg crossed over my left or on my bed with my legs close to my chest, with my back against the wall.
A mundane answer to a mundane question. :D

I usually lean back in my super comfy desk chair with both feet on the ground or crossed at the ankles. If I'm not at my desk sometimes I'll put my right leg over my left or sit cross legged if I'm on the ground. I can't cross my legs at my desk because my keyboard slides out on a tray and I'd knock it.

Woot for the mundane!

Either tailor style - or as you put it, criss-cross apple sauce - or with my legs propped up at weird angles. My version of tailor style is a bit different though; I often get stares when I get comfortable and people haven't seen me sit that way before. Some people are actually disturbed! I don't know how to explain it really in words, all I can say is that I'm rather hypermobile in my legs... You know that stretching exercise where you sit on the floor, put the soles of your together, and then push your knees down towards the floor until you can feel the stretch? I've never been able to do that one because my knees go all the way to the floor with me even trying.

So yeah. Tailor style... with a twist. Almost literally.

I sit in so many positions, I don't even know which is my preferred stance. I guess if forced to pick one, I'd say what I'm doing right now is pretty comfortable. Left leg bent, on the chair with the right leg out and straight.

I switch one leg over the other but generally start with my right, for some reason my left falls asleep.
I do it 10% because it's just natural, 90% to make me feel like Don Draper

Whom I will never be as cool as so I should probably switch those percentages.

Usually with one leg horizontal, the other vertical. Horizontal leg on or under the other.

I have no specific preference. I sit however I feel most comfortable, at the time. I tend to shift around because I can never remain comfortable in any one position for too long.
