Poll: How long (on average) do you spend on computers?

I look back at my old WoW playing days and am absolutely shocked at how much time I was spending on there. I was shutting my life into the office, and doing nothing but playing WoW. Some of my friends are still like this, and I am wondering how long do you spend on the computer (doesn't have to be on games(you can choose if work counts)) and if you think it is too much?

I spend most of my day on my computer. Very literally. I do so much stuff on it. From work, to recording (work), to mapping (work), to gaming, to chatting, etc. I guess the fact that my computer is also my media center adds a good 4-5 hours of my time on it.

Really, there's little need for me to go out and do things with this.

I've always been a bit of a homebody, preferring to stay indoors and play the computer to everything else. It hasn't helped my social life much, but I have fun.

6-8 hours, I myself am also a computer-holic.

6-8 hours mostly. But it's normally at ungodly hours in the morning.
I should sleep more.

8-10 hours, but that's because at least 7 of those hours I have to sit in front of the computer at work. Recreation wise only about 2-3 hours daily.

8 hours at work every day... then another 1 or 2 hours at home, kind of depends on if I have any interesting people to chat with. Cause if I don't, then I prefer to spend my precious free time playing on the Xbox 360 instead.

Long enough to have a permanently indented groove on my desk chair.

Seriously, I get up around 11am, go to bed around 3am, and in between except for about 2 hours during dinner, my PC is on. I'm either working, gaming or chatting.

I wouldn't say it ruins my social life. All my good friends went to university, most of the people left in my town are the yobs who were too thick to bother (and quite frankly not my type of social group).

Saying that, I had to go a month without Internet last month, so I just watched TV or drew or went to the park. It was nice, so now I do that a lot instead of spending too long on here. Plus, I wrote about 5 chapters of my story in that time, when I got Internet back, I got writers block. So it can be a distraction.

Due to the fact that I'm out of school, I don't have a job yet, chances to hang out with friends are few and far between, and exercise/martial arts/grocery shopping aren't exactly time consuming (no more than a few hours each day), I probably spend about 8 hours of sedentary time, most of which is spent on the computer.

pah currently cant play games due to the massive amount of viruses lagging out my computer so no GUNZ or flyff for me but I still manage to get the fair amount of hours in on the escapist forums and tribalwars ^^.

I work on a computer all day, so that puts me pretty solidly in the 6-8 hour category.

I am terrible at that game, yet I love it. I am mind-numbingly dismal, getting about one kill for every 20 or so deaths.

But I can't help but love its quirky visual style and its hilarious characterisation.
