Poll: How many languages can you speak?

And where you're from.

I'm from Singapore, so everyone here is effectively bilingual. Coupled with all the foreigners in our schools, Singaporeans probably know 3 languages minimum.
I speak English, have Chinese as my mother tongue, also know Teochew (chinese dialect) as a way of communicating with my grandmother, and basic knowledge of Japanese (Been exposed to it since I started animes/manga, and also I have a Japanese/Australian classmate) and Korean (A result of the Hallyu wave, and also because I have a Korean classmate ._.)

I'm from Ontario. I speak english fluently, and conversational romance languages with the exception of Romanian (which might not even count.) I'm also slowly learning Japanese and Cantonese, and am looking to learn Arabic and German. I don't consider myself a fluent speaker until I can construct a song off hand in the language. I'm almost at that point in French, Spanish, and Italian, (and Latin ) but I think I still have a lot more talking and learning to do.

Others I have some insight into:
French - I can barely speak altough I learned in school
Japanese- I can understand some things, and i'm currently learning it.
Spanish-Portuguese and Spanish are quite similar. I find it pretty easy to understand Spanish.
(not that I ever tried speaking it.)
