A few days ago this was on tv so I sat down and watched the movie Osmosis Jones. Now I know it didnt do well in theaters but I liked it when it came out. It wasnt a masterpiece but I thought it had potential and it made me feel good to think that me being lazy was caused by politicians.

It was pretty good, later on Disney made an animated show out of it, it wasn't entirely horrible, almost seemed like a show about how to be healthy disguised as a childrens' cartoon, so it gets bonus points for that.

I actually remember the show, it had its moments and was clever. Though the loss of Thrax who i think is still one of the coolest villains ever was a huge blow.

.
It was a good movie. With all of the rehashing abound, this brand new IP was original and entertaining. Like the previous poster said, the TV show was nice and it really was a 'being healthy' propaganda for kids in the shape of an interesting cartoon.

Wow I haven't heard of that name and film for ages.
As for the film itself I thought it was alright and it's good to see that concept being used again (in that inside our body is a world for the microorganism) since I remember bits of this kid education show to teach us about our body using that concept.

I loved that film, its still up on my shelf. Really unique idea for an animation well executed. The TV series was great as well

A buddy-cop movie taking place inside Bill Murray's internal organs? Above average, at the very least.

enjoyed the hell out of it.

ha heck, on netflix we had it streaming to my friends huge ass TV in his living room while we were chilling/playing beer pong, and anytime new someone walked in they would get wide eyed going "IS THIS OSMOSIS JONES?!?" which always was a "yup =]"

it's quite interesting how they rethought the human body, and lul at some of the jokes, especially when they showed the sperm "creator" and had it in a trophy like status lol

True, and some of the premises for the episodes were dumb, when they lived in Frank, or whatever his name was, they had problems because he was a lazy slob, then the show takes place in an active healthy kid, so every episode he had to accidently huff lead-based paint, or be peer-pressured into smoking, or unintentionally eat asbestos or something.

Considering the reaction here. How the hell does this Movie get such a bad rap? As an added note i loved the art style of the movie too.

Well, your average escapist is a sucker for fringe stuff. That said, I did like it.

The animation was awesome and the bad guy was vicious, but the live action scenes with Bill Murray were disgusting and detracted from the film.

Those types of movies are always fun to watch. Sure the live action stuff was pretty meh but the stuff that takes place in the body was entertaining.

Plus, it has Chris Rock NOT being an annoying, shouting ass which is pretty rare.

Fiiiiiire. Bow bow bow bow bow

Wow, I'd forgotten that movie existed. It wasn't bad, that I can remember. I recall it being fairly entertaining? So there's that, I suppose.
