Feels like they are out to late, this should have been added since day one. Not to mention it had probably been good PR as well since we bigoted pc elitist wouldn't have cried our eyes out.

Was it really worth waiting for Tessellation? Since that's pretty much to only thing i found was any different, reflections, shadows and even textures after the massive 2gb download this looked the same.

Hey at least the brick walls look nice eeh? ;)

Had it been out day one then day one would have simply been today and playing crysis 2 interested me far more than staring at the bricks plus I only have dx10 anyway.

Either way can anyone really point to any other game that is actually noticable when running dx11 over anything else, it's not like dx10 in crysis did anything special over Dx9.

we had to wait years for crysis to look better (Hardware progression), is 3 months really that long.

... Eh. Looks rather underwhelming.

And to be honest, the brickwork reminds me of parallax occlusion mapping more than hardware tesselation.

(And parallax occlusion mapping was first demonstrated with DirectX 9 hardware 5 years ago)

Still, at the end of the day I'm not surprised. Tacking on DirectX 11 effects after the fact is always going to look a little half-hearted.

Lipstick on a Pig! No sense in giving this failure of a game a new look. You don't get second chances in this industry.
