Since a study says gamers get less sleep than others [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/7.118326#2262849] I'm wondering how much sleep you're actually getting in a normal week day, so barring the week-end.

It really depends. On a school night, I'll get maybe six and a half hours, but lately I've been getting upwards of eleven. Thank you, summer vacation.

I get about 11-12 hours of sleep, but that's because I'm currently unemployed and have nothing to warrant me waking up on time.

5 to 7 hours, so that averages out to 6.
Gotta get up early for my lectures.

I have to get up early for class during the semester, but I always stay up late on the internet, so I never get enough sleep.

And I don't get any more on weekends. My stepmother never seems to understand that when I get home from work after midnight, I am not all that keen on doing yard work at nine the next morning.

I only wish I could vote twice, as I get either 3-5 hours of sleep each night or 6-9 hours. By nature I'm a light sleeper, and while I'm not entirely sure how much gaming has contributed to this aspect of my physiology, it makes it such that I either somehow get all the way through the night or wake up at the end of my first sleep cycle and either fail to or refuse to fall back to sleep again. Alternatively my alarm can wake me up in the middle of my second cycle but I try to avoid this as I find it makes me more tired throughout the day than had I woken up after the first one.

I average 4 or less, more to do with my own choice from a young age to continually stay up late. This is not a very beneficial habit to have developed now that I am in university.

Mainly this has stemmed from an over-active brain which can be good and bad. I love my brain and wouldn't have it any other way.

Depends on how I'm feeling, how tired I am, etc. I'd say it averages at about 8 hours, but I very rarely sleep more than 9-10 hours, and usually get at least 6 hours.

My own average is 6 hours, although I can do fine with 4 hours. The advantage is that getting 8 hours of sleep in the week-end is sleeping out for me.

Depends really, when I was at school it was about 6(ish) but now that exams are over, I'm getting 10-11 depending on what I decide to do.

I get roughly 6 hours, but its nothing to do with gaming, I've had horrible insomnia since I was a child, it takes me between 2 and 3 hours a night to get to sleep.

Since school is out, and my body is on a 28 hour a day schedule, its about 8 hours. On a side note, it doesn't matter how loud your alarm is, if you are too tired to get out of bed, you will just lay there until you fall back asleep.

I only get 4 in the summer, not because of a game but because I get active in summer and hibernate in winter, like a bear. I think it's the heat, I want to go and forge in the woods this summer.
