Poll: How soundly do you sleep?

I am a very sound sleeper. I can easily sleep through large thunderstorms without stirring. The only way I can be woken is if I have gotten enough rest, or something lands on me.
But anyway, enough about me. How soundly do the Escapist sleep?

I don't get why they say "I slept like a baby." Babies don't sleep and neither does anyone who has to take care of them. I think it would be more accurate for me to say, "I sleep like a corpse."

Normally light. I can regonize who walks around the house by footsteps alone.

It takes me a few hours to get to sleep normally but once I am asleep artillery fire can't wake me.

I can sleep through screaming outside my door. I couldn't always, but with practice and a decade, it's just something that doesn't wake me up anymore.

A light tapping on my window to get my attention or someone saying my name will usually wake me up instantly. Loud noises, barking, car alarms, shouting, lightning... my brother dropping his weights.

Why wake up when you can have epic lucid dreams?

Like a rock, I think it comes from the fact that I had some roommates last year who used to play Modern Warfare 2 into the long hours of the night and very early in the morning, I learned to just roll with the large amounts of gunfire and explosions.

Like a brick. Going all the way back to when I was a baby and I slept through a thunderstorm on an airplane.

I can sleep very soundly and at the same time i can hear people talking that are in the same room.

Ugh, I am the least sound sleeper I know.
I wake up every few minutes. I very rarely sleep for more than an hour at a time. If I sleep longer, I am plagued by fucked up nightmares that wake me up anyway. And that is if I can even GET to sleep in the first place.
I am exhausted all the fucking time because of how awful my sleep is. Also because of several other factors, but mainly that.

For some reason this week I've been a very sound sleeper, I've slept through all my alarms and missed the majority of my lectures for the week...feel so waste because of that.Ordinarily I'd say I'm a medium, hope I hear my alarm tomorrow or I'll miss work and that I'll get a bollocking for :/

I hear ya XD I've slept through airplane take offs, landings and thunderstorms without a flinch. last year I missed most of my morning classes because I never heard my alarm (which I always set at full volume) 0.o

nothing can wake me up, unless i know that i need to do something that day. anytime else i will automatically answer them when they ask me to get up.

I sleep like a rock. One time I was in a hotel at Hawaii, and a fire alarm was ringing. I was still asleep and my brother had to shake me to get me up.

I had to move my bed away from the radiator in case I roll over and put my arm on it and burn it. Ive also rolled out of the top bed of a bunk bed and carried on sleeping.

Ive also been known to respond while sleeping when told to wake up making people think they woke me.

I've managed to sleep through a parade happening just outside my window - I start dreaming before I fall asleep and regularly clock up 12 hours sleep a night because I just can't wake up.

I sleep pretty soundly.
