This beauty is an Ibanez RGD2120Z as you may have noticed it is a 6 string guitar
but it also comes in 7 string models
it has a Edge-Zero bridge/tremolo with ZPS3 system for tuning stability
for more information visit this website http://www.ibanez.com/ElectricGuitars/Series-rgd_prestige

this actualy looks like an excellent guitar to play but what do all you in the fourm think about it
it is apparently priced at $1,299.99 but there is always a way to get it cheaper

also we all have a dream guitar that we want to play so what is your dream guitar/bass that you really want to play?
give details and website(s) and/or pictures and of that guitar/bass

I only count six strings in that image.

Ibanez are okay for shredders I guess, but I like to play slower and aesthetically I don't like their look (apart from the "Artcore" ones which are nice). Give me an SG or an archtop any day. Also I despise the Floyd Rose style tremolos.

No, I would not. I would get the 7 string steve vai model ibanez uv777 but that's because it suits my play style better. For metal heads you may want to look at 8 string baritone guitars made by ESP.

As a side note, never buy an instrument you haven't tried... that's just silly.

My personal dream guitar the original Manson Bomber, one of Matt Bellamy's guitars... looks and sounds awesome and it is quite literally one of a kind but again... I'd want to play it first.

its supposed to be 7 strings
Okay well yeah I wouldn't buy one. 7 string guitars are yucky to play. I wouldn't even buy the 6 string variant. They're not terrible guitars and they do feel nice to play but there are certainly other guitars that I like the look and sound of better.

I don't have a dream guitar, but I certainly have a dream drum kit that I'm saving up for at the moment.

Man I hate Ibanez's.. For no other reason than how much I hate the shreadlords that play them. Ooh, so you can sweep pick? Big fuckin' deal.

Pretty shocking reason to dismiss an entire brand but their basses don't do much for me either.

Also - 7 string guitars are not necessary.. Those 4 extra notes are only going to be good for Metal (see: reason for hating Ibanez) and you should know your voicings well enough to not need the extra hand positions.

In my opinion, this is the only guitar that will ever matter. If I owned it, I wouldn't play it. I'd frame it in a case above my bed so that every morning when I woke up I got to see it's beauty, if possible, I'd have a copy made and put it at the foot of my bed so I'd have a good day twice. I'm not a guitarist, I'm a bassist/ocarina player if you're curious./

My brother in law has an Ibanez, bright yellow, very nice guitar.

But my answer is still no as they cost a metric fuck ton which you could spend on something far more worthwhile.

I challenge anyone on the planet to play that and not feel/look like a complete tit.

You don't play that thing, you admire it. But yeah, anyone would look like an idiot playing it. But I know I would feel awesome doing so (if I could play more than Smoke on the Water that is).

Mahogany body with maple-wood wings, the neck is a maple-walnut-wood mix, with a rosewood finger-board. It's also neck-thru, so there's that. It was originally $1,119.00, but it was put on a sale list and is now only $799.00. It's just a damn beautiful bass...
