What I mean is; what is your personal fantasy about where you want to live? Does the weather impact your dream? Do you not think about it at all? Bahamas? Antarctica? And why is it your favorite? (i.e. what defining characteristic(s) make(s) it perfect for you?)

For me; It's kind of a toss-up between a isolated cabin in Canada. (I grew up in Wisconsin, so I'm no stranger to cold)Just stay inside all day and do science, read, write, draw, video games....

OR

An island about 200 sq ft in the Bahamas with fine grain white sand and light blue water with the shallows going out about 40 ft.
I'd have nothing but my cabin, plenty of books, food and water, and nothing else.

At the end of the day, I'd have to pick the Bahamas.

A habitat on Mars, where my army of cyborg clowns prepares to conquer Earth any day now. Once I've finished my gaming bing. Any day now...really...

Cold.

I think I'll end up in the Mid West or at least move to a more northerly state. I prefer forest to desert.

I'd like to have a nice piece of land w/ a decent sized house complete with a large underground bunker/lair under the basement(where I can set up another house with an armory+workshop) not too far from a city/town, but far enough to set up an outdoor shooting range without pissing everybody off. Load it up with guns, ammo, misc. supplies, food, water, filtration systems, books, games, tools, building materials, Apocalypse movies, and a green house for a garden.

I would prefer somewhere where it is between 60-80 degrees (F) year round. Considering nowhere like that exist, I will just stay in Kansas.

Went on holiday to spain a few years back, it was really warm and it started raining.

Warm rain .... it was great.

I live in Colorado. The saying is: "if you don't like the weather here, wait 5 minutes". I've seen snow in the same day as 80°F temperatures. I've seen it raining in my front yard and sunny in my back yard. And I wouldn't have it any other way. I definitely voted for "all 4 seasons", because otherwise I get bored with even the most "ideal" conditions. I couldn't live without the occasional blizzard or thunderstorm, but we still have 300+ sunny days per year.

I like snow and what not but i hate being cold which happens too often living in Buffalo. I'd love it if i could have an Antarctica setting without the bloody frostbite.

Variety is the spice of life.
Give me all the wondrous four seasons.

That way I can also enjoy all the brilliant fashion humanity has created for every type of weather.

My absolute fav would be a constantly warm 22-27C sea climate, mostly for medical reasons. I love the fresh, salty sea air. It works wonders for my otherwise dry and horribly itchy legs, as does sunshine and warm temperatures. It does everything even the most moisturising lotion can't do.

Cold has the exact opposite effect, and while I find any place covered in a fresh layer of snow incredibly romantic, it's horrible for my skin. And not in some vain, feminine type of way, no in a "oh gods it's so dry I want to scratch my legs down to the bone" kind of way.

Mind you, I still want the occasional storm and all that. If anything, a storm when you leave near the sea is even more impressive.

The Mojave, for example.
The Mojave? Man, that place really makes me wish for a nuclear winter.

I'd like to live in the town you start off with in Kindom Hearts II.
Seems a brilliant place!

Seasons are awesome. During the winter you have snow and ice, Spring has flowers and rain, Summer has sun and rain and Fall has beautiful sunsets and walks in parks/forest. (and more rain). It just works.

So stop breaking it global warming! The seasons seem to be shifting here... We had winter in Oktober and Summer in march. That doesn't work at all. And now Juli is filled with rain and storms. It's just not fair.

I always like it when it's like, 60-65 degrees F and a little rainy.

That's my favorite.

Warm during the day, cool in the night.
Skiing in the winter.

Beautiful mountains and lakes.

Austria is what I speak of!
I freakin love that place.

I'd love to live in a place that is perpetually cold. So probably Antarctica, though this also conflicts with my urban lifestyle. Can't think of too many places I'd move to, though. I live in NYC, and I kind of like the winters here, though I prefer colder.

If you go by average highs, Sydney is pretty close. I would consider Sydney my ideal environment. It has variation, but the winters are very mild. I'm already used to the fairly hot and muggy summers of the Mid Atlantic area, and it seems like a raw deal that we get these kinds of summer and snow.
