No, you're a resurrected corpse without a soul or any feelings and are doomed to forget and kill your loved ones,friends etc and suck their blood all night, while you lay down as a normal cadaver during the day, then start again the next night, not being able to change your life.

Immortality doesn't sound so grand, plus holy stuff burns, then there's the "Blood" thing.

I would. holy things have no power! The only thing I would have to worry about would be the stake in the heart. Yeah, sure, that's a weakness of mine now, but people aren't actively trying to do it to me right now!

Um, HELL YEAH I WOULD! Let's see super strength, extremely fast, very few weaknesses. (I don't care about going out during the day anyhow). Hell, you could make an army for yourself out of non vampires if you were smart (why don't vampires in fiction ever do this? I think Daybreakers is going to be the most realistic vampire movie ever). Seriously, vampire=win

Although I do like the night time I think I'd rather not murdering people to further my survival... I'm too nice and would probably end up starving myself rather than drinking their blood

If we go by Twilight vampires, there are pretty much no downsides. Instantly goodlooking, superpowers, eternally young but you can still kill yourself if you really want, no burning to death in the sunlight (get real, sparkling beats BBQ). Seriously, I don't think they're even dead, just superheroes.
