5 seconds ago. That would work.

EDIT: No wait, actually, I'll pick the 60's. Nothing beats the Beatles (NO WAY the 80's where better than the 60's)

If I had to pick, 1930's-40's. Great era, cinema and theatre was going through a golden age, there was vaudeville there was great charming Jazz music and a good atmosphere... seriously I belong in that era.

1963. Travel back to Deely Plaza and stop the Kennedy Assassination. Enjoy my new status as a national hero. Use my newfound political power to abolish PETA and elect a Mr. Ben Croshaw to the newly-created position of Overlord of Common Sense and Whip-Tongued Condesending Punishment.

About 2 years ago. Then I'd go about doing things a little differently than the first time through.

Well okay apart from all of that everything was spiffy.

I'd go back to one second ago. I could wave goodbye to myself as I leave... Then I'd have fulfilled the directive that I have to go back in time, yet no actual change would really occur. Which is fine by me :D.

Otherwise, the 60s. Age of free love, cheap weed and awesome music, baby! (Plus, don't tell me I'm the only person who loved the Richard 'Love Actually' Curtis movie 'The Boat That Rocked'. It had cracking tunes and Tallullah Riley wearing 60s style clothing, what more does a great film need?).

OK, then I can agree with you that it would be a good time to live in.

To be honest, now is fine.

I like now.
Damn right. I just finished a month's worth of research and finally have some time for myself, why the hell would I want to go back? I'm staying right where (and when) I am, thank you. :)

Room for one more back there?

(70's was my childhood, but it was a fucking depressing time)
90's was my childhood, it was all about Monica Lewinski. And Britney Spears.

So yeah, I'm pretty depressed too.

The great thing about 80's music is that such a vast amount of it was amazing. I didn't pick that song because it is my favorite song ever or anything, I just grabbed a list of titles off of YouTube (couldn't trust myself to be sure what was 80's and what was late 70's), scrolled down to the master list and picked the first thing that sounded good.

We have ONE rock station in my city (light rock doesn't count-mostly crap), and it is awesome. I heard Guns 'n' Roses, AC/DC and Autograph on the way home today.

The sixties, probably. I could actually change world history - and if not, it was a pretty good time anyways.

I like right now. But if I had to choose somewhere around the late 60s. Some of the really cool Muscle Cars were made in that decade.

I'm also assuming you're not black, jewish, oriental, or homosexual.

Yeah, great times. /irony
