In keeping with the sudden surge of immortality threads lately i pose you a question;
If you had to choose between:
A: You died tomorrow, but through your death, all forms of cancer are cured
B: You become immortal, in the sense that you live forever, never die, and cannot be damaged or feel pain in anyway (enabling you to be able to survive in any environment such as space or the centre of a star). However, as you will truly live forever, if the universe were to ever be destroyed in some way, you would outlive it, so even if there would be nothing but darkness, you would still exist, alone.
Taking the implications of both choices into account, which would you choose?
[Edit: for clarity, you would stay the same 'age' as you are now]
