I don't know how many people would agree with me on this subject, but I noticed that all current gaming consols have a form of internet connection. With all these gaming consols with internet connections, why not have a standard setting that you can turn on and off at will that replaces your music with say, a radio station.

I know some games do this, and I know consols like that 360 have a setting for programs like Last.FM and the ability to plug in a portable device and listen through that, but I want to be able to listen to a local radio station or a distant station without being able to turn on a radio, plugging in something to my consol, or relying on Last.FM. Or say get rid of the ingame music and replace them with music of my choice.

Agian, I may be spoiled by PC gaming and the ability to do this with steam or just having the ability to change the music with in the program files to my preferences, but I would like the publics opinion as well.

I'd like if they let ya all import your own playlist from music you have on your system to play with any game, or have a Pandora type radio to play.

I'm sorry, but I can't see it. If you want to beat super mutants to death with your bare hands to the turn of Navras, turn off the in-game music and turn on the stereos. Nevermind the internet.

I don't know about you, but I just put a bunch of my own music on a USB, plugged it into my Xbox 360 and let that be my ingame radio for whenever I get bored of the soundtrack. It replaces the music and is usually played under the dialogue, so you don't even notice that it's not part of the game.

The only disadvantage is that it means you don't get signature 'battle music' as a tipoff for when you've been spotted by a foe, but it's a sacrifice I've been willing to make.
