Well apparently Verizon is releasing an iPhone 4 as well so i wanted to see what people thought about each Phone Series. While i know you can't judge the Verizon iPhone i would like to know whether you like the iPhone series or the Droid Series. Any phone from either series no matter what carrier it's for is fair game. READYGO!

I've only tried out the iPhone, but I know it is quite awesome, and I would recommend it.

Don't know much about the Droid though.

I own an Iphone 4. it is (and this is coming from a person that would rather go without a computer than own a mac) the greatest phone ive ever owned.

I owned an iPhone for 2 years and loved it. Never had a single problem with it, but 120 for a single plan (I was running on the old rate) was too much.

I switched to Sprint and plan on getting a droid in May once I'm through 1 year on my current plan with my LG Rumor Touch (not a bad phone for 30 bucks)

Well I have the droid incredible and love it.

The real difference between the two is android is very flexible, but if you don't feel like learning code to customize your droid you may just want to get the simpler iphone.

Also I think iphone has more app choices, but I don't know for sure.

vs. threads are looked down upon in the forums.

Furthermore, the advice forum is especially not the place for this kind of thread.

Please avoid use the off-topic's section if you really must post vs. threads.

All I have is a pretty generic samsung, so I can't really comment on extensive personal experience. However, I do have a iPod touch 4G, which is practically identical to the iPhone 4, and I do love the iOS, but I take issue with the premium Apple puts on their products. It sounds pretty silly, but I can't really bring myself to buy and Android phone, just because I'm so wary of Google and their insistence on collecting information about you. I'm sure Apple is just as bad, but I'm not saying it's a rational feeling.

Had an Iphone 3G, that sucked balls. I have not tried the Iphone4.

I recently got an HTC Desire HD, and well its just so much better. The HTC Sense interface for Android is so much better than the iphone interface imo.

So go for an Desire HD ;)

Unless you're going to spend the 500 or 600 dollars on the phone to take it anywhere, you might also look at the provider you're going with. It might come as a shock to you, but different companies have different pricing for different packages. Keep that in mind.
