People hate Fox because they stretch the truth and exaggerate what really happen and never ever get to the point that they're supposedly trying to make. It has nothing to do with their freedom of speech, its just that Fox ignorant views are really annoying

well fox has had a lot of times where they had uneducated twats coming in as 'experts' and spouting garbage while ignore those who know what their talking about. One infamous example is the Mass Effect sex scandal (or lack thereof).

Fox has a legal and moral right to express its repugnant asinine right-wing views, but it has an ethical obligation to explicitly acknowledge that bias and to separate its commentary from its reporting. It has utterly failed to live up to that obligation.

No, you need to look closer. He is willing to do anything that provides him joy, because that his the epitome of what he looks for in life. How does he not know that murder wont provide him joy. If he discovers inadvertently that it does, should he continue doing it? After all, it is what he is looking for. I never once suggested that there was a similarity between arguing and killing, but rather that his moral system of "Do what brings joy" is incredibly flawed.

The 24-hour news cycle is the worst way to go about presenting news. It essentially demands a steady stream of watered-down bullshit to fill the time requirement, and there's really no need for it. A system of generating a compact 2 or 3 hour broadcast per day and putting it on loop would be much, much more wholesome. That said, on top of that, FOX and MSNBC also have agendas that blur their journalism. CNN manages to stay relatively neutral and as a result just suffers even more from the watered-downness of broadcasting 24 hours a day because it doesn't even have inflammatory accusations to keep things engaging.

Basically my opinion is that all news networks actively poison the American people and wean them off intelligent discourse.

As for the news, it's pretty bad, but it's not really any worse than CNN: just on the opposite end of the political spectrum.

Yup. Of course what's more fun is not going to jail. Same reason why I work and earn money even the work itself isn't necessarily enjoyable - to carve a path to enjoyment down the line. Murder is...well I've never tried it. Closest I've got was bludgeoning a fish with an oar. However what I do know is that prison is decidedly not enjoyable and thus avoiding it is a good plan.

If you watch Fox News, then you'll realize that the majority of programming on that channel is not actually advertised as news. Much of it is commentary. In contrast to CNN, which markets much of its programming as news, but it also is commentary.

What I'm saying is that Fox News isn't any worse than CNN, people just see them as worse.

News should be procured from multiple sources and sifted through to find the truth. Many people don't want to do this, so they take their news from wherever they think agrees most wholely w/ their views.

And the rest of Fox in general is actually quite liberal, but the stigma of Fox News, the channel, has seeped into the rest of Fox's companies as a result.

Plenty of people get away with murder each day, committing it does not automatically equal jail. Also, how do you know prison isn't enjoyable, it's a life where your taken care of, watch tv, play video games, and don't have to work. If you get past the possibility of sodomy and shanking, it's more of a good deal here in the USA then bad.

The real question here is, can you not see the problem with doing things solely because they provide you joy? Can you even consider the possibility that another person in this world may not know something you do and that taring them down because of it isn't necessary. You know, you could be a good person and tell them what they have wrong in a polite manner. You know, not actively insult someones intelligence to make yourself feel good.

So you're saying that, if you could permanently kill someone for your own temporary amusement, without getting caught, you'd do it.
